i ain't as half impressed with XP9 than I am with FSX... I can say one thing though, you can't get much better than flying the real thing! I have flown A320's, A330's and C172SP's and thats AMAZING!

I flew and Rj 140 into Toronto from New York on my way back from Munich. It's a really cute comfortable little jet and the colors of it are awesome great landing for first try.

Wooow, flaps too low at a high approach speed, thats why you had to push the nose down, you had too much sustain. dont push flight controls down when over the runway, just let it float down until touchdown, the decreasing of the speed will take you down slowly
I did, nobody would approach an airport with that aircraft at such a nose-low attitude. Grab your joystick and get back to your computer games cause I have to go to flight school
get in a real cockpit and you'll understand. Instruments and all are similar but the stress level is really high, and actually feeling everything happenening is weird. Approaches are more fine tuned though. My first landing done by myself was hard (in real life you have to pull HARD on that sucker to float along the runway) but the rest were smooth. You just can't replicate these things in simulators.

Well, i'll start off on a positive note, you must have a great computer, amazing graphics !
Just abit of advice, on your approach you shouldn't have your flaps lowered that much, that's why you find you have to nosedive to descend :)
On final, when you pretty close to runway, reduce power to 0, and then lower the flaps and pitch up, that will improve your landing.
I think it was an okay landing for your first attempt!
