I started reading the series when I was around nine or ten somewhere around then. I read the first three and absolutely ADORED them. I read the fourth and then went to every midnight release of the last three. I have loads and loads of merchandise too. They are truly amazing and inspiring books. JK is a genius and she deserves all the credit in the world for the wonderful creation that is Harry Potter.

The same thing happened to me as what happened to you. In fourth grade I read the book and I was like 'WHAT THE HECK IS THIS'. But in fifth grade I tried reading it again and I... fell in love. o yah just kind of a cool fact for all the hp fans. JK wrote the first book and knew how the story would end and she wrote the last chapter of the book before the 2nd. the last chapter of the book was what helped form most of the characters.
