Doctors of Optometry (OD) provide eye & vision care; examine, diagnose, treat & manage diseases & disorders of the eye. Playing a major role in the overall health by detecting systemic diseases such as diabetes & hypertension. Optometric physicians complete 4 yrs of undergraduate study, culminating in a bachelor's degree in a variety of advanced health sciences. Optometry school consists of another 4 years of post-graduate, doctoral study concentrating on both the eye & systemic health.

Fair point. I am trying to give patients a few tips on the part of the eye examination they find difficult.

I could have called the video "how to do a subjective refraction" - but who would have known what that means?
