well strathclyde polis were formerly city of glasgow police pipers which puts them a country mile in front with 21 and shotts have 15.

SFU is a great band and they are my fav. But they are far from the most world championships...HOE Shotts and Dykehead have a total of 14 since 1920 until now and Strathclyed Police has 11.

No it is the only band that has one more then any other band they took first place 5 times and 2nd place 7 times. But no matter they are the best. I go and see them every chance i can get :)

This is the best pipe band ever. Can listen to them for hours n hours. Just imagine this band has done it again no other band has won this many times. What can I say I just love the pipes. Wish I could learn them.

your talking about bands outside the UK right because there have been plenty of bands that have won more than SFU. But I do agree that this is the best pipe band ever!

sfu has won more world championships than any nonscottish pipe band. strathclyde police have won 12 world championships which would technically make them the best band ever but as of right now sfu is the best there is although field marshal is very close behind.
