  • the kid's dinosaur drawing at 2:20 is actually really good...

  • I actually went their, their the ones who opened my eyes through out art.

  • Great Content, Keep up the Good work

  • "The challenges were facing today in the world does not require more knowledge, it requires highly creative people"

    This is SO true!

  • Thank you so much for this presentation; it's message is very viable and we want more people to see..hear..and feel this message in their hearts. We are currently featuring your video! as an opening "statement" for our channel. BRAVA! BRAVO!

  • I has always been seen as a very talented artist as a boy. I took as much art classes as I could, play piano and draw a lot. Thought it was effects of creativity, it defined me and make me who I am : a very unique thinking boy. Now I am at university in Electrical Engineering, a place where good science and mathematics skills are essential, but that can only be well implemented with the imagination art gave me.

  • Wow this school is located at skid row in LA.. The children who live there need the arts!

  • When I Was In Third & Seventh Grade I had The Change To Go Their it was a great experience now that i move to San Bernardino everything change no more art and no more fun i wish that i was their enjoin the art.

  • Awesome! this is an awesoome school! i took some clases. now i just volunteer once in a while.. loveeee inner city arts! :p

  • wow i would LOVE to go there XP

  • [Arts is] a huge and powerful counterweight for this lack of hope. Because you have to be able to hope and dream, to create something, that doesn't exist. - Cynthia Harnish (Inner City Arts, kids classes)

  • A problem I've seen is that a number of art teachers actively try to downplay the use of math and science in art and design when talking to students, yet when talking to the public, they claim that they are encouraging math and science. It is sad when an art student leaves high school without the math skills needed to design or even budget their work, and yet it happens entirely too much. Art helps with development, but there is too little emphasis on design principles at the high school level.

  • I actually remember that when I took an art class in highschool, that that year I got the best grades I had for all four years. So definitely art is just awesome.

  • put you rhand over your mouth and make a wish

put your heart over your heart for 5 sec.

put this comment on 3 other vidios

and your day tomarrow will be fantastic

  • I teach 2nd grade in a low income area of my district in San Diego. Art has taken such a back seat in our district and I literally got choked up by this report. How crucial Art is not only to development, but to the very essence of what it means to be human. May we all AT LEAST take an objective look at the evidence which "time and time again" proves the necessity of art in school. Thank you so much for this report.

  • Vraiment Génial comme concept enfin la créativité aux service de l'éducation et surtout de nos enfants.

  • Wow, thank you for sharing this

  • Love the music.

  • Amazing!!!

  • go ahead with your paintings while people are killing each other with stupid wars, good luck hiding the reality

  • @kenapa1234 Red herring fallacy, your rebuke of this of this logical argument for increased arts has nothing to do regarding the premises. You merely change the topic entirely and failed to correlate paintings to wars. Thank you for showing us all a lesson in logical fallacies

  • I see Duncan glazes at 0:29

  • Maybe I should start participating in some art projects so I'll be 4X smarter then! :)

  • this is so beautiful

  • An amazing project; a powerful video!!

  • So the answer to life is... Art?!

    I knew it!

  • i wish i went to a place like that as a kid

  • LOVE IT!

  • I totally agree with this. We keep eliminating art programs because we think we need more time for math, science, etc. when really artistic methods will teach children so much more than an extra 10 minutes of math class will. Variety and the blending of multiple disciplines breeds faster learning. Musicians are often very mathematically minded, for example - the two complement one another. Great report.

  • i didnt understand

u have 2 give the aportunity 2 create 2 have smart and creatice people thta is our future or what?

  • @pscman3 Your grammar and spelling hurts.
