Always air-block when you're jumping in on your opponent; also, learn how to do Air Combos.

Don´t take this as an offense, but you need to learn how to Super Jump, there are two ways to do it, the first is to press the three kick buttons at the same time and the second is to do down an then up quikcly with the stick or the d-pad. The Super Jump allows you to aprouch to your oppnents easier, it helps you to scape easier an helps you to have more time to do moves like the Tenma Gou Zankou (the super move in which Akuma throws a lot of fireballs from the air).
