I put a glass pack on my 4.6 and it made it so much quieter, sounds like ti done the same to yours bud. Just leave the muffler out of it and take that damn glass pack off. Just weld straight pipe where the muffler and glasspack were sounds os much better trust me

does it sound good for normal driving? I want a good sound better than stock and not too loud for around the neighborhood (too many old people) but when Im in a parking garage maybe set off some alarms haha, I have a 2002 burban with a 5.3l. good engines mine has 134k on it tows the boat just fine lol

@surfjat15 THE SIZE OF THE ENGINE. LIKE MY CADDY IS A 4.6 LITTER ENGINE. 5.3 IS A 327 GMC ENGINE. OR KNOWN AS THE VORTEC 5300.

Don't put glasspacks on a 5.3. I have them on mine and my truck sounds and the exhaust smells like ass. Granted, the idiots who had the truck before me gutted the cats idiotic like and did a half ass job on the exhaust. It's too loud for me when people are talking especially from the back seat. I'm about to cut them off and put something a little quieter with 3 or 4 inch tips exiting behind the rear wheels at an angle. I want something not loud, but deep toned. Maybe single pipe straights.

sounds pretty good, i would suggest if you want it way loud runnin true duals with glass packs and 3.5" tips. ull get an amazing sound with alot of slap and a really nice gurdle before it hits the powerband

i have magnaflow high flow on my 4.8 and it sounds pretty good. im not a big fan of flowmaster and i think glasspacks sound good till they wear out. love the wheels though. dont think i could bring myself to paint aluminum wheels but they look good
