@JinRenegade usually things that are color black in live action, get drawn as a dark blue or blue in comic books and cartoons. for example the proton packs were black in the movie, but are a dark blue in the cartoons. the same thing for the Batman's cape, its black but in comics/cartoon it has a shade of blue to it. its the same thing for jet black hair, in comics/cartoon it usually has a shade of blue to it. i dont know why they do it this way, but i guess its cause blueblack stands out better.

Well, since RGB did such a good job of blending factual historical referencs in there, my guess would be that its some sort of spectral representation of the Hindenburg.
