Computer Peripherals : How to Remove a Stuck CD from CD-ROM Drive

Thanks for the video. All the information I got before talked about the little hole and a paper clip; however they did not show a CD-ROM with the hole below the door. My computer hide the hole and I could not see it until I backed the CD-ROM out a little and with a flashlight/torch there it was. Thanks James. Keep up the good work.

i have a Xp model that stands up like a tower and i dont see a paperclip hole anywhere =/

look closer, it's on the dvd / cd rom drive.

You also have to push the paperclip in with a bit of pressure to get it to open.

Works excellent for me. Now I have to see why the DVDrom died in the first place. :s

my cd drive wont open but there isn't a cd in the drive. When i push the eject button the light flashes and nothing happens will this work for me please someone help need to play my dvds
