the perfect combination of heart, absolute mastery of the instrument, sheer joy. I had the great fortune to hear Sri Narayan in live performance many times in the 70's. The most memorable concerts of my life.

Sheer brillance! How many thousand "saptak" must one rehearse to get that level of clarity, note precision and speed on the Sarangi!
