My step mom is a devout Buddhist and 100% Thai. I also have a friend the practices Japanese Budhism and another that is a Zen Buddhist that meditates and gets hit with a stick for moving. They are all very different, but two out of three eat meat. I have even gone to a ceremony where the monks eat first then the people eat, after putting money on a tree.
