Hi,can you please help me with choosing bb cream.Ive never had one and I really want to try it.Im white and my skin is not oily but still not dry,its like in week its really oily but next day all of sudden it gets really really dry.I was thinking about first buying a little one only to try and not one of the expensive ones.Daily I use a foundation and it really covers my skin,I have to put it on to cover my redness and stuff but I would love to wear something lighter and healthier for my skin.
@AliceMariaxD Usually the texture of BBcream is really oily and soft. So it makes skin looks glowy and duey. Like you have nothing on your skin. So it does not look cakey on your skin, but the BB cream has a grey tone to it, so if you are white, it might darken up your skin tone, I am an Asian, I have tried them before, It matches my skin tone, but I still think the foundation has more natural coverage. There lots of BBcreams out there, usually the one you try easily is the Misscha perfect
@AliceMariaxD Coverage BBcream. I think that is the one she used in this video. Also it is a lot easier to get. Most of BBcream are made in Korea. But you probably can get it from Asian market. There other brands like The face shop or the etude house or the skin food, but I think if you are not asian and especially you never had one them before, then I think you should try the misscha or mischa BB cream.( I do not know how to spell their name) I heard that they match lots of different skin tone
@AliceMariaxD There are lots of different colour ranges that you can choose. If you have fairly light skin, then it might look weird on your face, then the solution is mix it up with foundation. It goes a lot better than merely putting the BBcream. WOOHAH I am seeing some grammar mistakes I have made. Sorry for that. If you have more question, you can visit English website from Missha. They all have translated on the website.
Hey, i wanted to buy bb cream from bbcreamworld from ebay as well...Is it trustworthy/ good seller? I really wanted to get the Missha one like yours and a Skin79 BB cream in Hot pink. Haha, i got combination skin as well....
Have you shown your Mushroom BB Cream from skin food applied in a video? I am very very pale (You can check one of my videos to see what I mean) and I have been trying to find a bb cream that is light enough for me to use. Ive heard that the skinfood one you have is one of the lightest.
instead of the smashbox primer, use the cover fx clear prep primer, it doesnt clog your pores like the smashbox one does, the cover fx one has the same cosistency as the smashbox but it doesnt clog your pores and helps prevent and heals blemishes, you should tri it out!! and it fills in fine lines and pores
I HAVE ACNE ALSO . MISSHA'S BB CREAM IS THE ONLY "FOUNDATION" THAT CAN FULLY COVER MY BLEMISHES . BUT IM STILL NOT HAPPY. I DONT WANT TO HAVE ANY. I HAVE STARTED USING LUSH'S PRODUCTS. MANY PPL R VERY GLAD. I HOPE I WILL BE GLAD AT THE END ALSO ^.^
just a quick question, i know this is personal but do you pop your zits?is that why you have indentation scars? i breakout alot and havent had any hole indentation problems...but just a day ago my zit pop and theres a huge whole....you dont think this is gonna leave a indentation scar will it?
Want to clarify previous comment - I only started copper peptides 2 weeks ago (stop Retin-A to avoid using too many products at once). Some users said it really helped them fill in pock mark scars, ** take note this is after 1-2 years of consistent use. So fair, it gives a nice matt glow to my skin:)
Sos linda, hermosa - no te olvidaste chica!!!
Perdon, me avisas las canciones son?? Perdon no hablo ni escribo bien!!! ^_^
I used glycolic & lactic acid - lactic acid was much better for me, less harsh. I used Rentin-A for the last year. It really improved my skin, makes my skin look young. But it is important to ramp up.. u need patience to deal with the peeling & see-sawing not to overuse. A tightrope act ^_^
I started copper peptides, suppose to re-model skin in the long run especially for pple with scar issues.
Everybody's skin & acne cause is different. Mine is hormonal, I seldom get pimples after Diane!!
Mexusagirl, I understand how u feel. I had adult acne for >12 years - stress triggered it badly. Antibiotics didn't work & I didn't want to go on accutane (horrid stuff). 3 years ago I went on Diane, it stopped my acne. It took another ~2 years of enzyme exfoliation to get the marks to fade. I can weep with joy when I see my clear skin now!
@fantasyworld87 OMG!! thank u for letting me know they have a new shade!!!! I love using my bb cream but had to stop using it because I got a bit darker this summer and #23 was a bit too light for me, but i just ordered the new shade thanks to you :)) oh, and I have combination skin... i get very oily but also dry
@mexusagirl Just for the information. There is also shade 13 which is very light! Thank god because 21 is dark for me in the winter. Most BB creams are too dark for me... :/
@SunShineChic95 I bought the shade 27 a week ago, and I really like it! For once, it is my perfect shade - really hard to find with my Indian skintone. I have a few blemishes at the moment, so it doesn't quite give me the coverage I need. But I can tell on areas that have no pimples it really enhances your complexion without looking like you're wearing foundation. Hopefully if I clear up soon my BB cream will be all that I wear!
@bleh929 I bought it a few weeks a ago to, on ebay. I think it's much better than the heavy foundation I could have used... I never used foundation anyways. It's a bit dark in the beginning, cause I'm norwegian (My skin isn't the palest, but not tanned either) ... But it blends in well! I like it :)
BB cream contains sunscreen, DOnt really need Xtra and remember BB creams is used and desigend for Asians with lighter skin. so usally latinos and darker skined asians and black women cant use BB creams...plus misshia is the cheapest and is low in quality but cheap but i have to mention that thier make up is slightly better than thier skin care but trust me there is a lot better out there
I used to get really bad acne in my high school years, which made me have really low self-esteem [I didn't wear any makeup at that age],then I went to dermatologist after trying several products as well, it was the best thing ever, once my oiliness is controlled, I don't get breakouts anymore. Still don't have perfect skin and occasional pimples but I am happy with it. I am luckier than you cause my acne didn't leave bad scarring, just dark spots which fades in a few weeks and uneven skin tone.
Sorry my cm was too long, I've watched all of your videos and found them really relating to me. Have you tried Bio Oil for scars and uneven skin tone? Though it is oil, it absorbs really nicely and doesn't leave ur skin greasy if you massage it well into your skin. I use it and it really helps.
I am happy that ur skin is clearing up. It's better a bit late than never.
@princess1221 no i haven't tried bio oil. I will do some research on it. I actually haven't bought any creams/lotions/oils to help treat my acne scars yet because it's so difficult to find a product that actually works, and since those type of products are usually very expensive i've been holding back on purchasing any. but i will read up on this product that you mention. thanks for the suggestion :)
wow i cried watching a whole bunch of your videos because to this day i have crazy cysts on my jaw and so many acne scars that arent covered i dont even go to the beach or pool because i dont wanna be seen without makeup. i am so happy for you , i am like smiling so hard. you are so brave and my inspiration to have hope
thanks!! it was really hard for me to go to the pool before too. when i took swimming lessons one year, every day i put on foundation before going to class. it was such a pain!! i really hope you find something that helps w/ your acne!!!
@mexusagirl I just got put on Diane 35 birth control and Differen gel but I noticed after one week that my acne got worse. Did this happen to you when you first started, like that theory "it gets worse before it gets better"?
@dollparade Hi sorry to interfere-I'm on Dianette, which is the same pill as Diane 35. I've been on it for 5 years now! I know it's hard waiting for it to clear but stick with it and it will get better! In the meantime, you should try washing your face with Eucerin Purifyer Cleanser and get some Origins- Spot Remover (google em!) I find this really helps spots and scars! xxx

ok...i just watched the older video of you....when you were putting make up on...and your skin was "burned"....as you said...and I just can't belive that your skin looks like this now....i wish u all the best....and i wish that your skin stays the same as it is now....pusa velika!
I'm happy too. It was a very long and complicated journey, lol, but I'm happy I can finally say that I have clear skin. I hope you get clear skin too because dealing with acne sucks!! Plus, the sooner you get it under control the better because the scars acne leaves behind are no fun!!
ummm... i started seeing a dermatologist in April 2009. After my 3rd visit I started to see an improvement but I never got completely clear until I got on the Yaz birth control. For me, the birth control is what worked.
I was lucky that my body reacted very well to the Yaz birth control. I've had to deal w/ really small side effects from this pill. I did gain a few pounds but I'm super skinny so i think this was a good thing for me, lol. And i only felt nauseas the 1st week I started using it even though my gyno. said i would feel nauseas every morning for 1 month. I was really lucky!!
Good luck w/ ur upcoming dermatologist appt. I was sooo excited the day of my 1st appt.
it depends where you buy it from. I think the cheapest place you can get it from is e-bay. I paid $11.88 w/ free shipping from the e-bay seller listed on the side bar. They will ship it to you all the way from Korea so it takes a while to get it but it's fun receiving a product from another country :)

Yeah, being in your mid-twenties and still having acne REALLY sucks!! Soon after turning 23 my acne went from bad to HORRIBLE. It was really, really bad.
