Tom Noddy, aka: The Bubble Guy - I rented a room in his house in 2000... Great Guy. Was funny that I remember seeing him on this show, even though I was only a baby when it came out. I find him inspiring because FZCK!!... 35+ years... he literally makes a living as a performer/entertainer - completely dedicated, travelling around the world, blowing bubbles. BUBBLES! The Square Bubble being the most famous. Anyone else who does it is stealing his schtick.
thank u so much for posting this - I just remembered That's Incredible today and especially this bubble guy and so it was so cool to find it here - thanks ^__^
Ha ha...I think it's pretty clear that he's saying that he's gonna continue puffing down those chemical-laden cancer sticks but, wants to be able to blame someone else when he gets the hospital bill. But, it does make you wonder why he doesn't buy a pack of Zig Zag papers and a bag of that healthy, life prolonging, natural, organic terbaccy, eh? BTW: Mr. Noddy is now smoking herbal ginseng, jasmine cigs to fill his bubbles...
it only causes cancer because the government makes cigarette company's put chemicals to make it so, for example, if you don't puff it for a couple minutes, it goes out.

Yeah, cause who cares that you can die of an early age from blackened lungs and each miserable, painful breath you take might be your last, the important thing is that you can make pretty bubbles.
There is another Guy named Geoff Atkins who is really cool and Is very talented. Im not Taking anything away from Geoff, its just that I personally Have seen Tom Noddy do it *first* in the early to mid 80's. It seems that Geoff is doing a lot of Toms Early bubble Tricks from the 80's
Check out the profile of the poster just before this mini-thread. He's posted a video of this bubble guy...and, his pony tail has gotten even more...well, check it out and you'll see.
I can barely blow regular bubbles. This guy has talent. Hope he lives a long time. That smoking part may shorten his life. I would hate for that to happen to such a talented person.
Was it the Winston's commercial? "Have A Winston's Bawney." LOL! As a general comment, this definitely looks like the 80-84 that's incredible set. The '89 one was much different looking. Also, the organ and discoish music points to early 80's.
I'm trying to recall. I bet if you check out that "Tom Noddy" link someone posted elsewhere in these comments, HE would know. Also, if you check out his later video (he apparently gave up smoking in favor of one of those smoke machine pipes), you can get a better idea of his age between the videos (and, the gnarliness of the pony tail as well).
He also did a bubble cube (six bubbles arranged in a cube, blew smoke into the middle, which was mostly flat-sided). I was a huge fan of this show. when I was like 8.

Have you seen the smoking commercials on youtube? LOL. I think I saw Fred Flintstone with a cig. Some cartoon character or other.
