  • And show this town what I can do....DAMN!!!!!!!

  • Groovy man, groovy

  • best version ever...what a solo

  • en que año fue gravado esta maravilla ?

  • put it all in my shoe..!

  • That's definitely Mitchell on the drums. I'm sayin. Buddy Miles sounded like a "cement mixer".

  • cool photos of hendrix too ~

  • Best version was at Albert Hall London actually.

  • @TheMrLusk is that the same one that was on the blues album? because thats my favorite one

  • @NANDO218 No mate. The Albert Hall one is about 24 minutes long and is Jimi at his finest. He goes through about 5 different styles, from really light and watery to buzzing distortion feedback into a touch of classical and then all the way back round again.

  • @NANDO218 the is the one from the bbc sessions

  • noo nooo no the best version is live in atlanta 07-04-70 ,, 4th of july...you probly wont find it cause its soo amazing and RARE

  • This is unbelievable

  • much shorter than his later versions but very intense at some parts....his Guitarness Jimi laying it all out for us right HERE !

    peace & love from netherlands....

    henny

  • this is a fantastic version...to say hendrix was awesome is an understatement...absolute perfection.

  • absolutely best version.

  • We're with ya Jimi!

  • The master at the controls. So, so young to do this so well.

  • put your phones on

  • Waow never heard this version before, and god, i know many

  • Excellent voice - sound as well as the video...:)~Zuzanna

  • who is the backing vocals ?

  • @tariksba I dont know but i wouldnt doubt if it were an angel of sorts..its so perfect

  • @AbsintheColour : thanx...but i think that's Buddy Miles

  • @AbsintheColour I'm pretty sure it's Noel Redding... no angel haha. But props to Noel for the solid job.

  • @tariksba Noel Redding, or Maybe Alexis Korner

  • @GrisGrisOnUrDoorStep : thanx ...

  • @tariksba noel redding the bass player

  • @FxTxW1313 : thanx...

  • @tariksba Sounds like it could be Noel

  • @Noseheros : thanx ,but i think that's Buddy Miles..

  • @tariksba Buddy Miles? maybe, but I dunno if he was with hendrix at this point, gusseted or what, sounds like Noel to me maybe even Mitch

  • @tariksba I might be wrong, but I know that Stevie Wonder played with Jimi on the BBC sessions, but not sure if he's playing on this one. Could be, though.

  • @purplegypsy89 : thanx ,but i think that's Buddy Miles.

  • @tariksba mitch or noel im guessing

  • @tariksba I think the back ground vocla is the late great Buddy Miles a good friend of Jimi's at the time as well Peace cosmic

  • @tariksba ....maybe Mitch and/or Noel

  • @tariksba Could be wrong but it might be that guy from the Band of Gypsies tour. Can't think of his name at the moment. Kind of sounds like the blues guy here was singing with there.

  • @tariksba Sounds similar to the backing vocals from Band of Gypsies, which was either Buddy Miles or Billy Cox, whichever was the drummer.

  • @ACDCrocks024 Buddy Miles.

  • @tariksba pretty sure its noel redding

  • @tariksba it was the bass player

  • @tariksba noel redding the bass player, but alot of people thought is was john lennon

  • space drug influence lovely

  • Jimi Hendrix "ecoa" por toda ETERNIDADE!!

  • have mercy, have mercy

  • this is a cool version...ususally this jam is done live..cool to hear studio version, although you can tell this is done "live" in the studio

  • Comment removed

  • Agreed, love this version.
