  • Thanks a lot, your review was very useful to me. After watching it, I'm now decided: This will be my first telescope! :)

    Thanks,

  • @246Bourbizz Great stuff, enjoy!

  • my wife just bought me this for christmas.! Im excited to look at some stuff. thanks for the review!

  • Between this there which should I choice as a beginner?

    Celestron FirstScope, reflector newtonian

    Celestron Travel Scope 70, refractor

Celestron CLST-C70, Mini Mak Spotting Scope

  • @WatchmenDrManhattan That is a very good question, without trying it I can't really comment but the fact that the celestron travel scope has an erect image means that everything will be the right way up instead of back to front and upside down like the Firstscope is so that would certainly make for an easier entry into astronomy. I can't really say more than that without trying them properly, but I would shop around and see what you can find price wise.

  • @WatchmenDrManhattan This is the one I was referring to, if you can get something like this cheap then it should be a good start! celestron. com/c3/ product.php? CatID=77&ProdID=546

  • this scope is a piece of crap brought one a while back and gave it away it really is a poor scope

  • @smt1988 I think it depends on what you expect from an entry level telescope at this price, I was having a look at Jupiter and 3 of the moons last night and while it is in no way a super detailed close up view of the planet I could still see and understand what I was looking at, I wouldn't want to try and do extensive sky observations with it but for the casual user it is a cheap way to have a look at a few things in the sky, all the classics, andromeda, orion nebula, saturn, jupiter the moon!

  • @smt1988 its a 30bucks telescope you moron not a 3000

  • very good review

  • A very nice review fella i now have one of these and its a cool little scope.

    keep up the good vids.

  • Great review

  • @zdawood89 Thanks

  • Thanks for the great review! I have been considering astrophotography for a while but i've been held back by steep investment required for a decent enough scope. I came across this telescope and its cheep enough to enter and enjoy a new hobby while I save up to what I really want to do. :) Thanks again for the review!

  • @dstargti Thanks for the positive feedback, it is always good to know that people have found my videos useful, have fun with the scope, dan

  • Lol remeber the Xmas day trip to look at the moon!
