Crystal Gayle is the sister of Loretta Lynn ( Coal Miner's Daughter ). Fortunately for Crystal, there's not much of a family resemblance..

Haven't heard much from her in the last 10 or 15 years. Maybe she was the female equivalent of Sampson. Maybe she lost all of her 'power' when she got her hair cut..Her hair was so long back then she was on the verge of becoming Cousin It.

She just got a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in October and her hair is still down to her feet so she hasn't cut it off. What happened is the world stopped listening to good music.

Yes, Crystal and her hair are alive and well and still performing concerts around the country and overseas (she recently returned from a concert tour in Ireland and Switzerland).  And I agree with you... some of us still appreciate the "good music".
