  • fantastic guitar licks.....

  • Best wings song

  • I LOVE JIMMY!!!! :) So sad that he died at 26 :( I love you Jimmy :)

  • My favorite Wings song....great Guitar Riffs!!!

  • Unfortunately his love for H killed him.

  • this is the reason why jimmy is my fav wings lead guitarist, he was the only who contributed to the group, and the 2 songs are good

  • Love this song and his guitar!

  • .......and now hes changin licks with randy roadhs in heaven

  • Sounds like a Steely Dan tune....and I mean that in the very best way possible. Jazzy.

  • 2:24 Jimmy's guitar is SSICK!

  • 3:50 always reminds me of Pink Floyd's Animals

  • my favorite Jimmy McCullochh song second to his Dukes song "Heartbreaker"

  • Always loved this...thanks for posting! :)

  • I love you for putting this up. It's my favorite Wings song

  • Ah, another one that you won't hear on the radio, because radio sux. The tune is quite cool actually.

  • RIP, Jimmy. You did a great job on this 1. God bless!

  • Who sings this song??? Is it Paul?

  • @sharegrace Wings lead guitarist at the time, Jimmy McCulloch.

  • @sharegrace YEA MY FRIEND IS PAUL & WING IS DANNY LANE

  • @sharegrace denny lane i think

  • Thanks for the trip back to '76. Awesome.

  • You could tell when the whole group believed in a Wings song. It has a real balance to it, and definitely ranks among their best overall tracks.

It's even got a social message. Would've liked it to get more airplay. RIP Jimmy.

  • the singer reminds me Sting with the Police a bit...

  • very nice to hearf this again...I often find that many of these obscure gems from the 70's are actually more psychedelic than the music of the 60's

  • :-D

I like to listen with sound off sometimes. It helps.

  • This song kicks ASS <3

  • Doctor Tom is getting on...all he does, is sign his name.

I get things, my brainbox sings...but I'll go down again.

Play with fire, getting higher...higher than a nine foot flame.

My soul is pent and so's the rent....but I'll go down again.

    Chorus:

Wino Junko can't say no. Wino Junko eyes aglow.

Pill-freak, spring a leak, you can't say no....till you go down again.

This and that you crazy cat....flyin' sideways once again.

I'm in a spin, it makes me grin....but I'll go down again.

  • Take what I need until i bleed....people will say I've gone insane.

    Ain't scared to die, it's such a high....till I go down again.

Wino Junko can't say no. Wino Junko eyes aglow.

Pill-freak, spring a leak, you can't say no....till you go down again.

Wino Junko can't say no. Wino Junko eyes aglow.

Pill-freak, spring a leak, you can't say no....till you go down again.

    Till you go down.......again.

    Wino Junko

  • Such an underrated gem. I really wish Wings would've done this one live in '76.

  • this song kept me off drugs in my high school years.

thank someone up above for this one, medicine jar, no no song and cold turkey. i hated seeing what it was doing to the boys in the former band.

    thanks jimmymccullochfan for uploading :-)

  • @JimmyMcCullochFan this is jimmy's best performance I think and a highlight for wings, I like lawrence also, but I wonder what BACK TO THE EGG, would have sounded if Jimmy still would have been around. I love speed of song for this jimmy tune especially but back to the egg is still my favourite wings album, the first one I heard that got me hooked on the band

  • @wellisaythat ..uhm Tom is getting OFF not gettin ON...lol...the whole point of it....listen at you crazy cat.....flying sideways...

  • Dead on, caesarcerf. Sad shit, what a talent.

  • RIP Jimmy - art does imitate life - you're sorely missed

  • hey his not dead how the man just had his 56th birth day !.

  • @cealend McCullough is dead- ironically in spite of writing 2 anti drug songs McCulloch died from a heroin overdose in 1979. Collin Allen,Denny Laine, and Paul McCartney and ohters in Wings are still alive though if that's what you mean.

  • i wouldn't say great song by the standards of any decade but this. EXCELLENT song.

Let me take a particularly British slant on his life/death. He wrote songs to warn HIMSELF to lay off but couldn't, nay WOULDN'T. Jimmy simply refused to clean up his act because he loved the drugs. Face it; he did a lot in his short life, though this is in no way an endorsement of substance abuse.

At what point can we not protect one from himself?

  • Jimmy didn't write the lyrics to Medicine Jar & Wino Junko. Colin Allen did, he gave the lyrics to Jim and the rest is history.

  • really hmm here i am thinking it was all danny lanes project with mccartney ah well ... ty for that ..

  • @JimmyMcCullochFan I thought McCullough and Allen co-wrote Wino Junko and Medicine Jar?

  • great bass once again from Paul

  • Comment removed
