@JimmyMcCullochFan this is jimmy's best performance I think and a highlight for wings, I like lawrence also, but I wonder what BACK TO THE EGG, would have sounded if Jimmy still would have been around. I love speed of song for this jimmy tune especially but back to the egg is still my favourite wings album, the first one I heard that got me hooked on the band
@cealend McCullough is dead- ironically in spite of writing 2 anti drug songs McCulloch died from a heroin overdose in 1979. Collin Allen,Denny Laine, and Paul McCartney and ohters in Wings are still alive though if that's what you mean.
i wouldn't say great song by the standards of any decade but this. EXCELLENT song.
Let me take a particularly British slant on his life/death. He wrote songs to warn HIMSELF to lay off but couldn't, nay WOULDN'T. Jimmy simply refused to clean up his act because he loved the drugs. Face it; he did a lot in his short life, though this is in no way an endorsement of substance abuse.
At what point can we not protect one from himself?
fantastic guitar licks.....

You could tell when the whole group believed in a Wings song. It has a real balance to it, and definitely ranks among their best overall tracks.
It's even got a social message. Would've liked it to get more airplay. RIP Jimmy.

very nice to hearf this again...I often find that many of these obscure gems from the 70's are actually more psychedelic than the music of the 60's

Doctor Tom is getting on...all he does, is sign his name.
I get things, my brainbox sings...but I'll go down again.
Play with fire, getting higher...higher than a nine foot flame.
My soul is pent and so's the rent....but I'll go down again.
Chorus:
Wino Junko can't say no. Wino Junko eyes aglow.
Pill-freak, spring a leak, you can't say no....till you go down again.
This and that you crazy cat....flyin' sideways once again.
I'm in a spin, it makes me grin....but I'll go down again.

Take what I need until i bleed....people will say I've gone insane.
Ain't scared to die, it's such a high....till I go down again.
Wino Junko can't say no. Wino Junko eyes aglow.
Pill-freak, spring a leak, you can't say no....till you go down again.
Wino Junko can't say no. Wino Junko eyes aglow.
Pill-freak, spring a leak, you can't say no....till you go down again.
Till you go down.......again.
Wino Junko

Jimmy didn't write the lyrics to Medicine Jar & Wino Junko. Colin Allen did, he gave the lyrics to Jim and the rest is history.
