Wonderful video. I haven't had Poke Sallet since I was a child. Blanche, you have inspired me to cook some for my children and grand-children. I enjoy passing on folkways to my kids. And they are normally pretty good sports when it comes to trying my latest dish. Now all I have to do is wait till May.
My 2 sons seemed to like wild vegetables better than ones from the store; however my grandchildren are a little pickier-- but I'll keep trying to expand their culinary repertoire!

Just make sure to cook the young poke shoots in 2 waters and NEVER eat them raw!--B
