The singer is MANUEL. The producer of the film was SARKY MOURADIAN. I have the album here--and I can read you who wrote it--but IN MY OPINION it is a derivative of the famous Armenian song called BERZENIG. No Lana is not Armenian at all. She is part Russian. And with her sister Natalie Wood, Natalie's last name was Zakharenko, which is a Ukrainian last name. So Lana maybe be Russian but actually have Ukrainian heritage from that last name, but she never took on that name when she was born. She was born Svetlana Gurdin, and Natalie was the one that had Zakharenko as her last name when she was born.
