Elijah is a fake, he diss Malcom who has been the voice of the NOI, he refuse to accept Ali when Malcom mentioned it, but after he won the championship they welcomed him without Malcom, i guess
Elijah was afraid of Malcom growing influence and power so he wanted to keep him in check, too much hypocrisy going on. Ali was also young and naive and he turn his back on Malcom that upsets me but later realize his mistake may Allah forgive them both and grant them Jannah.
Everybody should read the autobiography of malcomn X. It will really educate you about what happened between he and the NOI. But more than that, it will open your eyes to the scope of this movement. The whole world was watching the USA during this time. Quite epic.
The NOI was hardly unarmed. The Knights of Islam were basicaly a small military unit that did the nasty work for the NOI. Elijah didnt turn on Malcomn to protect the NOI because of Malcomn's hard angle, or fear of violence. EM turned on MX because he was becomming the spiritual leader of the NOI in place of EM. Elijah became corrupt, busted for sleeping with young women, and conspired to and eventually succeeded in killing Malcomn X. God bless you Malcomn.
Malcolm X was a dynamic, gifted, bold and dedictaed leader who inspire African people as a whole.
He was more with himself than really with the NOI(Nation of Islam), because he did things out of the Nation, by expanding his works at looking at the African struggles across the world.

While I agree with you 100% on your indictment of Islam(I believe anything other than Jesus is a rejection of the one True God Jehovah). I think to convert people to christianity we have to be careful in our words and presentation. If our effort is to bring light into a morally depraved world. We have to present ourselves as proper messengers of light. We are to give direction and guidance to the lost not fuel their anger. I assume you are of the christian faith correct?

For his efforts to see all men in peace. Also before Malcom x died his views changed and he apologized to white people for his past views. I disagree on your assesment of these men as irrelevant. Malcolm's final months of life showed how people can see their wrongs and change for the better. That has to say something
