Why the Gabchak was included?

@barbarabruno Gabby goes bersek and kill Roman soldiers, because Xena has a broken spine and can't get up. She's so madly in love with Xena that she panics for fear that Xena is going to die if she's attacked and thus she kills to eliminate the soldiers completly! Gabby is not suppose to kill. At this point in the series she had even dropped her staff to become a fighter for peace under the influence of Elie.

That's how I see it anyway. Hope that helped...

I know that scene from Ides of March very well, but you included Xena throwing the Chakram to Gabrielle's head from Motherhood as well, and in that scene Xena almost kills Gabrielle. I did not understood why in this love video you included that scene, which has nothing to do with love.

lol me either. Personally I feel their relationship took a turn past friendship during season 2 and definitely by season 3 but that is only my opinion. I can see how people can think they were best friends mother/daughter is a stretch for me but hey whatever I just wish the show was still on the air or that the movie would happen. Thank you! While the idea of this song having an ironic twist would be very interesting, I don't think it was intended. Marc Anthony is most famous for his Spanish language songs and Spanish songs are dripping with romance in a very literal way. Translated in English it may sound corney but the beauty is lost in the translation. Given that background I think he fully intends it to be a love song sans the irony.

It is open to interpretation which adds to the beauty of their relationship I believe. Mother/daughter is not something I initially would have not have thought without this venue. Their relationship passes the test of time because years later somoene can say something about them I did not see.

Not only are there a lot of licensing difficulties they would have to get through, but there are a bunch of legalities in attempting to make it into a screenplay.

Not to mention, I really think a movie would ruin the ending of the show. I thought it was perfect and I was happy with it. I don't see how they could make a movie unless they brought Xena back and that would just negate everything they ended the show on.

That's why I clicked on this video!! I was hoping it would be the live version of that song from Yanni's album Tribute!  That is always on my list of "X & G songs" and it could be a fantastic vid! I have lots of ideas, but don't have the time to create any music vids, but years ago, when Xena was in first run, I would go to a friend's house every week and watch it, and late at night on the ride home would listen to Yanni's song over & over with a Xena/Gabrielle music vid playing in my head!
