Nuno is an amazing guitarist. his solos are alwayse WAY beyond where most bands solos are. and the bass and drums are great to. but i think we owe alot to Gary. not takeing away from the rest of the band, but without his voice it would be empty. but dont get me wrong. Nuno is my fav. : p  this is a great band and a wonderful song. i wavnt heard a song from Extreme that i havent liked yet!!

Yes, your right about Nuno Bettencourt being respected & accepted as one of the best, but for some reason not as (known) popular as some people who can't even be compared to a GENIUS like Nuno!

I think the reason why many feel that Nuno is very underrated is because we dont get why someone like John Mayer has mainstream success & he doesn' t even come close to Nuno's skill in guitar playing. Well, i just don't get it!???

Well that guitar isn't hard to play..because it is tuned down, and has very low action, and flat fingrboard..so his guitar is very smooth!..I would like to see if he could do the same thing with a Stratocaster with 10-56 strings on it..

wtf are you talking about? That solo is played with full alternate picking on 3 strings with one and two notes per string, and tuning has nothing to do with difficulty. And he is not bending in the most difficult bits, so your theory about string gauge is wrong at least in this example

First of all calm down or chill out man! there is know reason to react like that..anyway..If your action on the guitar is very low, and the guitar is smooth to play, it will be easier to play it in all the things you will do on it! I'm sure of that..I've tried out on my guitars..anyway nuno has been my favourite guitarist and song writer for 5 years now

The N4 is not so flat as an Ibanez wizard fingerboard, but your point is not totally wrong, that´s why I said "at least in this example".Warheads is hard as hell in an N4, a strato, an Ibanez and so on so forth...nuno has a strong left hand (mid. expr. a good example of it). For that kind of technique guitar action is not the most important thing (maybe for bendings I would say yes, that´s why you are not wrong at all imho)
