  • I love to see this

  • @sugarbrownrabbit u need to go back and do ur research please, it's not about what u believe its about what u know, do the knowledge, There was a time when there were no white people on earth, it may sound shocking to most ppl who dont know but its the truth, His history can only be traced back so far, I'm not trying to bring no one down, but facts are facts, civilization starts from the nile vally

Honestly, This type of school wouldnt be necessary if they just tought WORLD history in school

  • I'm so so so so so Happy that this school has come into being. WOw, how I wish my daughter can go to this school when she's old enough!

There's going to be lots of challenges, besides those inherent in any undertaking such a this, but because "main-stream"(u know who they are) don't want it to survive nor succeed.

But we've proven them wrong because as a people we've survived more than ALL peoples put together,& our children's education WILL survive too.

    STAFF,PARENTS,COMMUNITY stay focused!

  • I was a big advocate of this school because of the situation in the public school but now i think it is going to eventually flop. They are already encountering problems with some of the children. 2 main things that need to be a focus before the education process begins are 1 nutrition and 2 discipline. I haven't heard what the rules are regarding student lunches and snacks are but i have already geard of behavioural issued and teachers not dealing with them!

  • I understand the situation, but why dont they just introduce black history into public schools?

  • The Canadian curriculum is clearly Eurocentric, 99% of schools are eurocentric besides this one Afrocentric school and a few schools on Native reservations. If whites are 85% of Canadian Population a school like this is long overdue

  • @angetworld What about asaians? I'm fine with this, but they deserve one too.

  • I think this is the start of something great, I think If black youth learned the truth about who they are, They would have a greater understanding of who they are and where they are headed, In regular school the only thing u learn about black people is slavery, Every february they remind you that u came here thru slavery and they focus on nothing prior to that, The black man is the original man and they will never teach that in the regular curriculum because it will empower our youth, HOTEP!

  • @HiGradeTV There's no such thing as the orignal man. I believe that eash race evolved

    separately, thus making them different.

  • This is great, lets hope this spread not only in Canada but the U.S also.Hopefully we don`t get alot of "we are the worlders" posting on this vid. They make me sick.

  • There is a major problem with this. Not to shoot down this whole "new, innovative" idea of dealing with an issue, but my concern is why couldn't this idea be implemented into a regular school? I doubt this special school will solve the problem, but rather further isolate the minority. It's not like this idea has not been tried before, there is a "native-centric" school downtown and we can look there to see what sort of results are happening. Either way all the best to the ppl that use this.
