Basically you're a fail shopper Jeffrey. I look at a lot of stores and pick from the best of each one. Oh, that's right, I'm neurotic. And lavender soap would be a big mock But the Body Shop has many Kool scents that no one would question. But my favorite is plain old castile soap it makes your body feel soft and sexy but isn't overpowering. It is not cool to have too many "products" at school anyway.

since you're staying at state, a LOT of people get carpet for their dorms.. i guess? so a rug or something i've heard is nice there..& id get like a broom and dust pan, flip flops for your nasty shower and a power strip .your lysol was a good choice ha, as was the air freshener. take laundry detergent and dryer sheets. all that fun stuff. just pay attention to things you use in the next few days and then think about whether or not you'd use it at school... :)
