just give him the fucking treat already, ass. when I was training my dog as a puppy I didn't dangle food in front of him and tease him. I let him know I had treats then put them out of his sight. once he knew I had treats i could train him and then I gave him one after he did the trick/command. treats turned into hugs & pats and now he does it everytime :) So don't be fucking cruel to your poor little pug.

shouldve handed the treat over at 0:27 when he mustered a little bit of a whine. training is progressive. your dog doesn't see the connection between "i love you" and a treat immediately... it takes time just like any other dog trick.

You're not quite there, but I can tell that the dog is trying really, really hard to pronounce those words. Even that talking Odie pug owned by that Pennsylvanian girl, after having said it so many times, doesn't seem to do it entirely effortlessly, but that's part of the cuteness. Anyway, keep trying, hopefully you'll get him to say those sweet three words one day. Good luck!
