greedy, destructive, self-centered humans are shameful. i boycott all of your advertisers and wood products. gangster capitalists are scum. materialist consumers are brain-dead puppets of the corporations.
nobody and soul--you need a helping of all day driving a dumper or working any oof these jobs to get a feel of just what it takes out of you. Ive done very little of this and it taught me to get back in school for a degree so's I wouldnt have to be so strained! I take my hat off to these guys and others like them for providing the products we in the city take for granted.
lol he just laid out a parking lot. gotta love that scripted reality. anyways, interesting to see shale gravel. out in the rainy northwest it's all basalt and granite gravel.
Well, They dont only "Drive dumpers" all day lol. They get out and work their buts off to put food on the table. The hardest working men you will ever find in the world are going to be in your construction, farming, logging industries. And its not so easy as it looks, came natural to me on the excavator and dozer but to others they must train for hours to become fluent and efficient.

dude but roots in trees also provide structure and aeration to soil which sustains huge ecosystems of bacteria, insects, algaes, myclium and also prevents erosion. Trees also convert much of the solar energy that hits them, which means their putting off less and heat and reflection than eroding soil, concrete, or roofing.
But I'll tell you, I worked at a pulp mill that used 100% recycled fiber- no wood at all.
The mill closed from lack of customers. No one wanted the newsprint. We added burlap (jute) & still, the paper was prone to tearing. Entire truckloads were rejected because one roll went ape sh:t in a press. I culled 1000's of tons of that paper.
However, I think all fiber alternatives should be looked at - I'm all for hemp & unbleached paper.
I've also seen what are called 'quarry spalls' that they told me were shale, but these were 6-8 inches across and at least a couple inches thick. This was at a muddy sawmill - I thought they were going to put down something like railroad ballast. But I never got stuck again.
i live in washington county. and work for a logging company i agree with milkmantm.......if them flatland lander tree hugging fucks disagree with logging....they can try wipeing there ass with plastic toilet paper
Look, fer all you retards that dont live in Maine and dont believe in wood cuttin then go play in traffic, dont disrespect the Pelletier Family, they bust their asses everyday so you tree huggin greenies can have your furniture and paper you use everyday, and don't go talking a bunch of horse shit because im sure you dont know what it is like to work in a family business where youre actually working and sitting in a damn office all day isnt work, work is manual labor.!!!!
@milkmantm I completely agree with your whole statement, but not all work is physical, no need to disrespect office workers, Without engineers they wouldn't have the needed equipment to even work. Without admin staff they couldn't pay bills and payroll, and so on.
and in that hundred we could have thousands of trees growning that is why its replanted and then a new section is cut and then guess what replanted again
and again and again so it keeps the trees growing and loggers working and homes fences and furniture and everything haveing to deal with wood

We can grow all the fiber we need from hemp without destroying the old growth that provides us with free clean water and air.

That's true.

Chip logs are rarely old growth on purpose.

which the air provided by trees worldwide pales in comparison to just simple algae on the surface of the ocean.

It's not what I think of when I think of "gravel" -
What is it?

Howdy, looks like maybe shale or schist , maybe froma roadcut or quarry somewheres local?

Ah, yeah, shale - that's what it looks like.
I've also seen what are called 'quarry spalls' that they told me were shale, but these were 6-8 inches across and at least a couple inches thick. This was at a muddy sawmill - I thought they were going to put down something like railroad ballast. But I never got stuck again.
