i failed my regents by like 4 points cuz of the labs so i need to look at this i got to retake it monday

A mineral can have a vitreous luster which is not metallic so luster isn't just metallics

True. There are many different lusters. But for the NY State Regents exam, the Lab practical, they merely want you to identify if it is metallic or not.
