  • reagan, haha. do you really bealive the in U.S. there is democracy? The candidates are really monitored, and tv ( fox news, cnn, cnbc and the rest monitor the candidates that who si pro - system. who is not pro-system they will not be given tv coverages. they will be ignored and finally they will NEVER even get close to be elected. so it doesnt matter who you elect in u.s.a, the candidate you elect will and must be pro-system.

  • More Windfarms? Rediculous, it's windy enough as it is.

  • EU's response to Britain leaving: Cry. Whine. Bitch. Die.

  • Russia has -always- delivered resources to paying nations. Many, rely on it for gas and there is never a problem. There was a problem because of unstable countries like Ukraine... that has nothing to do with Putin.

  • @rdamjam Ukraine...Unstable? I wish Russia was a bit more unstable, it needs someone to rock the boat. Maybe a few bad apples would fall out. Stability is the excuse many Russians use for Russia's stagnation and its people's apathy towards injustice and freedom of expression. I know many Russians look down from their throne on emerging democracies such as Ukraine and Georgia with contempt.

  • Wind farms are absurd~~

  • @sentilopis

not really. spain manage to produce over 55% energy from wind farms and sun collectors that they constructed. and that is 100% higher then nuclear station reactor which produce 20% of energy, and 24% when it's on the highest rate. Spain is first in world that manage to to this, short after that Denmark followed the example, in Denmark villiges and ppl produce energy and sell it to the state, they mostly use wind famrs and sun collectors. So, the guy is wrong.

  • Mr. Bloom is speaking the truth. Putin is indeed a gangster and depending on his kind for any nations energy supplies is madness.

  • @Geostrategic1 Living in Russia I can tell you first hand that yes, Putin is indeed a gangster! Russia will NEVER be free with his influence.

  • @334286 It's beyond a shame America is being economically crippled by tyrannical Obamaism, which will eventually lead to a full blown dictatorship, while Russia, after so many years of ultra-repressive communism is still stuck with brutal rulers of the same dictatorial mindset from 'the old days'. The more absolute power this element has, the more they want, whatever methodology is required, no holds bared against the public.

  • @334286 well you are one of millions of russians! you cant expect us to bealive that that is true! the fact is that hes is elected president (or was), so we have gangster presidents all over the world, bush, clinton, sarcozy, putin, berlusconi and many more. democracy is not perfect. it means majority takes away freedom from minority. but thats what you want, democratic system. in my view, every large country needs strong leader to keep the country together! democracy = NO HUMAN RIGHTS!!

  • @ymeri78 I do expect you to believe it because it is true. I am not Russian and Putin was not elected. He wants suckers abroad to believe that. Strong leaders do not keep countries together either, they just repress freedom and sooner or later the people rise up and you have revolution. With democracy, good people can be inspired by a good leader so the population gets the government it deserves, which is how it should be! It happened with Ronald Reagan.

  • @334286 U.S.A has 2 headed 1 party system. No difference whatsoever from china. the only difference is you elect the person who is chosen for you to elect nothing more. if you bealive otherwise, you are really troubeled

  • @ymeri78 Then I'm really troubled because I believe otherwise! You should get about a bit more. There are huge differences between countries.

  • @Geostrategic1 you are wrong. It is not HIS kind, but YOUR money. it is a basic business transaction

  • @rdamjam A 'basic business transaction'. That's a good one I must say.

  • @Geostrategic1 aside from accusing, and ambiguous responses you are not willing to elaborate?

  • @rdamjam It's rather clear there would not be a point in further elaborations since you obviously do not share Mr Bloom's views on the subject.

  • @Geostrategic1 Here, here!

  • wind turbines have had the benefit of some of the biggest of the worlds propaganda campaigns. They can only operate between minimum and maximum wind speeds. No wind - no power. Too much wind - no power. At night the energy generated cannot be stored and is lost. Therefore the outputs quoted are lies. Turbines can NEVER replace nuclear or fossil fuels power!!

  • im kikeass

  • Mr Kirkhope give me 20 dinosaurs like Mr Bloom and see if they don't make a better job than the current Mr Brown's cabinet.

If that is New LABOUR and all things modern - forget. Pathetic amateurs who are not fit to run a welk stall!!!

  • Kirkhope is right - and clearly has a good sense of humour!

  • nuclear power is the future!

  • Yes it's not acceptable to go on without energy security. If some kind of disaster occurred tomorrow that left the UK isolated without energy security, it might finally dawn upon our leaders that "oh bugger, we're screwed".

  • Bloom knocks it out of the park again.
