Beautifully explained by a young lady who is a refreshing change from monotoned boring males! An absolutely fascinating video for this Englander who is off to try bread boarding post haste. As an aside her elegant gesticulating and immaculate manicured hands were absolutely fascinating. What a wonderful presentation.
The resistor's value is 470Ω, or yellow-violet-brown. If using a voltage supply that is less than 9V, you may be able to get away with a smaller resistor value, but 470Ω is usually a good "safe" value for limiting current to your average LED.
This is probably one of the best videos I've seen describing how to use a breadboard. Disassembly of the breadboard was probably one of the best parts.
I wish parallax would do more advance projects using this girl. Its nice to hear girls talk about nerdy things like this. I get bored of guys giving lectures on stuff like this.
Thank you so much, the talk was quite animated and interactive which made understanding the concept a lot easier, thanks! :)
