I remember getting a best of with the pet shop boys version of this album and being disapointed. I thought 'Outside' and 'Earthling' were terrible albums, but they aren't. In fact, 'Outside' Is becoming one of my favourite Bowie albums!

Outside is one of the most underestimated albums of David Bowie. I always found it a pity that he didn't went through with the project only because it didn't sell well enough. It is such a rich album, and it has a similar detachment in its depiction of the various characters like Bladerunner. Along with Earthling the best from Bowie in the nineties.

Well, like ove both artists, and I like both versions equally. I think D. Bowie's version has this chaotic, more stressy feeling to it, compared to PSB. PSB's version sounds a bit more relaxing and cool, like being in space. I'd listen to both anyday.
