  • I have Azperger as well, and I have a question; WHY THE FUCK IS HE DRAWING PLANETTARY SYSTESMS ON THE SIDEWALK?!!

  • 3:49 i want that thingggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggggg

  • I have AS to I dont get it at all

  • They can't say r's without going ahh

  • @kewlkat101 i have AS to and i totally agree

  • I've AS as well, as does my sister. I can definitely relate to having attachments to things- we would collect every thing, every toy, every twist tie, and never want anything thrown away. When I was 2 I used to pick up random pieces of wood or rock and carry them around all day. I once chased a boy around the park because he had unwittingly picked up MY stick.

  • How are you diagnosed? Im pretty sure I have it.

  • he is very introspective and is clearly identifying the signs of his symptoms and what he knows is normal and what he does that isn't. i haven't ever met an aspie (my brother's one) that can recognize it so well within themselves. also, his little brother is adorable!

  • i'm an aspie myself and my best friend is an aspie we get along pretty good. :)

  • This literally made me cry, I'm an Aspie at about the same age and I can relate to this so well :'(.

  • @kewlkat101 i think aspies are some of the most interesting people that exists i am one myself and i have only been lucky enough to meet 1 female with the syndrome it was kinda funny in a way first we both tried to be funny then 2 seconds later we were talking about the universe

  • I'm 2 min in and I love the kid, I think he's charming and very funny.

  • i think i might have assburgers

  • @crazy10bears that's a whole different problem. lol

  • eh, no, this kids just a nerd

  • @kewlkat101 wait so u don't know everything about movies...

  • my IQ IS 115 :(

  • It it a shame about all the ignorance, lack of compassion and understanding some comments show..

  • @Malangen7

Was thinking the same thing myself but I thought it harsh to correct a fella four years younger - never mind haha

  • that's nice they came up with a fancy word for just being a nerd

  • @margittarget dude not cool

  • maybe it's just me but Rueben is really cute ^_^ He's like a tall Harry Potter lol

  • Not entirely correct about the source of light in his toy. The electrons are not disbanded, but rather excited from a ground energy state. This does not produce light. It is the spontaneous transition from the excited states to lower energy states that correlates to light in the visible spectrum.

  • @Malangen7 Like a puffball thumping down some stairs!

  • Being in Mensa should also award you with the Wanker award.

  • I also have Aspergers, Only I never was picked on. Am a Nerd when it comes history of the ninja and Cold hardy palms... I have two or three Channels also. Am thinking about saying on all of my Channel I have Aspergers... just to get some of my Haters off my Back. most of the time I just taut them. lol

  • This guy is a bit of a boaster, not the best example of a typical kid with Asperger's. Most of the people with Asperger's I know are really funny, nerdy, a bit hyper and yet social awkward. I have Asperger's and we all hang out in a room at lunch.

  • @TotallyGeekage Well if we only showed the best examples then the worse ones would feel even more isolated!

  • @catherinespark

Yes, but if you only showed the worst examples, then everyone else gets stereotyped. The only way to get the best of both worlds is to show more than one example :)

  • @TotallyGeekage That's true I suppose. And showing more than one (including males, females, adult dx, child dx, seeking dx, prefer not to be dx, newly dx and living with a dx for years) would provide a really fascinating insight!

  • there is a girl in my class. she has aspie or what ever its called. she has a extreme intress for dinosaur's. our class is onley 10 students (8th, 9th, and 10th all share) the same classroom . and she always get's in conflict's with her because she disagrees to nearly EVERYTHING we say. and often respons by kicking one of us. BUT THE WORST PART IS THAT A FEW MONTHS AGO MY MOM CAME AND TOLD ME I HAZ IT TOO

  • Lol, Asperger's are just all cunts. Hopefully they'll all die out, bunch of cunts.

  • @bobdy9988

Not all people with Asperger's are cunts. I have Asperger's and I'm not.

  • @bobdy9988 Anyone else think this comment should be voted down until it's hidden due to too many negative comments?

  • he doesn't seem very different to me, not in an autistic way at least

  • @johanwalden Yeah, I know what you mean. But there is a difference between normal autism and Asperger Syndrome. Asperger is like a high functional autism. They dont suffer from retardation (im not saying that all traditional autists suffer from it either though, but its a much more common characteristic among them), and there is usually not any delay in language or cognitive development.

  • This guy is cool but I have aspergers and I am not like him much.

  • I have a light case of aspergers myself. I'm 12 and I can already create basic source mods. now THAT is achevement

  • Comment removed

  • @NetcubeStudios Yet you can't even spell "achievement", with spell-check. Now that's an achievement.

  • I'm 18. I am pretty sure I'm at least mildly aspie. I have only realized it today though. I find it so crazy I went this far in life thinking I wasn't then BAM now i'm sure I am at least somewhat. I didn't just watch this video of course, I have spent the whole night obsessing over it. (Obsessing over it... how aspie)

  • @Uncreativeish really? well do u think u are? because im just saying, if some phycologist says u have, when they is no p0roof dnt belive him,

  • Mr. Mensa, you spelled pessimism wrong on the road there.

  • I'd be his friend

  • i think this guyh is a freak no offence to hime alot of aspies are freaks arent they

  • @marc09676 What?! Thanks for that.

  • @marc09676 You know how he was saying he liked oxymorons? Well, if the comment wasn't hurtful, I think it would make him smile. A freak is someone who stands out because there aren't a lot of people like them...and you just said "A LOT of Aspies are freaks"...!

  • Holy shit, I wish I was into something as much as this kid.

  • dude can you not afford to write on paper

  • I might form a group for Aspergers people, not just for people with it like myself and their parents, but to show other people what it really is using accurate science etc

  • Oh and that kid looks like a mix of John Lennon and Harry Potter.

  • I have aspergers as well but this case this case in this doco is more of an extreme, I've got some of the same things this guy has but I and most apsergers people wouldn't have the things like attachments to inanimate objects or anything, but yeah, its a good documentary in anyways.

  • @deanmullen10 Well probably more of them have things like that than they'd care to bring up in a casual conversation...

  • @Ihatemyusernamemore

Yeah, sure, I am able to dance and perform coitus. But I still ain't relating to them, or "reading" them, so having such social skills defeats the purpose, in a way...

  • he sounds like moss from the british version of the IT crowd but thats actually cool

  • Comment removed

  • @Raywilliamjonhsson Hmmm...interesting comment. I'd prefer the term 'mind-blind', but there are always ways to catch up and compromise...

  • fucking scientists, y do they always feel the need to label everyone? we're all human. so hes shy, brainy they dont need to label that a fucking disorder!

  • @girlygirlyblonde there are other things about aspergers than simply being shy

  • @girlygirlyblonde I wouldn't blame the scientists. I'd blame the social system for refusing to provide support to people struggling unless there's a label pinned on them to merit it!

  • Oh please u dont have to be part of Mensa to understand how excited electrons in gases give off visible light

  • @Jagwa3 Depends how old you are really. I mean if a five year old explained all that they probably WOULD be eligable for mensa!

  • He seems pretty chill. He just needs to kick it with nice kids who dont mind his awkwardness.

  • @RoxxannasHorrorShow it's not so easy to find people that don't care about that.

  • what crazy names will Big Pharma come up with for new symptoms yet unheard of ?!

  • @earlofeastjurong If you thought that actually applies to Asperger's syndrome, you're terribly misinformed

  • YES SOME LIKE ME! FUCK YER! happy now. :D

  • Oh i have empathy towards inanimate objects as well, kewl.

  • Comment removed

  • The best thing about having AS is the ability to focus very intensely on whatever interests you have. The worst thing is the struggling with socialising normally. It feels like you may as well be dead if you can't fit in anywhere socially. I know from personal experience how genuinely horrible this is. Some people with AS might be fine about not socialising normally - i hate it and feel like i'm missing out on alot but i'm learning. I was only made aware of AS 3 yrs ago and i'm 24 yrs old!

  • these children are lazy and making always excuses because they dont want to get a job

  • @Jimmyretired

You confuse ASperberg's people with infamous "indigo" children. Aspergers can't socialize that's why they don't get a job, while indigo children are just spoilt retards

  • @alexgrinkov You dont need to socalise to get a job, i know workers from third world countries come to england and pick berries all day in the farm and they dont say a word

  • @Jimmyretired

that's another thing. they still socialize with each other in diasporas and that's pretty much the only thing that keeps em up in a foreign country. i myself lived in a totally foreign country & totally alone... couldn't bear more than 9 months

  • @Jimmyretired

ROFL, and that is why most of them live in shacks or on the street.

  • @Jimmyretired I happen to be autistic and would just love to go to work and report to a boss and make my own living. It's such a common thing for neurotypical people to have that, but it isn't for people like me. Fortunately I do have a protected workplace in turn for which I receive wellfare. These people know me and are trying to find a willing employer, but in times like these who knows what happens next month or year? The government might just declare my future to be irrelevant someday.

  • @Jimmyretired That is very rude to say, I have it and that is definetely not true.

  • @Jimmyretired Well not always. Depends which came first, the unemployment or the stopping trying...maybe they tried and tried to get a job, kept getting rejected, slipped into depression and then went to the doctors and were diagnosed. That's not an uncommon way for an adult to get diagnosed.

  • hey, can I share this with staff in the college I work in >?

  • i have aspergers, at times its not a problem,i go 2 college which was a big step, but i like my own company and dont like people or get nervous by them. u also enjoy things more intense like tv games music or anything really

  • Does he really have Asperger's? He just seems to be very intelligent...

  • @nnbhatt86, I doubt that he has High Functioning Autism. He sounds like he is just gifted.

  • I have Semantic pragmatic disorder, I was suicidal at school and at other times too but because its debated as autism I don't know whether my lack of friends and ability to have normal conversation is just me being a prick or whether its normal given what I have.

  • this is a bad example for people with Asperger's syndrome.

  • I'm nothing like this guy, in fact he is a bit of a stereotype

  • @ColdHearted117 How is Reuben a stereotype?

  • @britters220

What do you mean? This program was revolutionary for me because he's a lot like me, and it made me realise that I had the problem.

  • @boliussa

This is a late reply and I apologize, I mean that people with aspergers can be VERY different from eachother and that there is not ONE perfect example of it. :D Id be more satisfied if they had more than one person of different genders and cultures who have it. That way we get a general and perhaps more accurate idea on how AS can manifest itself.

  • @britters220

oh forgot to add this in the previous reply. not just of different genders and cultures, but those who have the common comorbidities associated with having AS. so we get an even better conclusion on how our group of people cope day to day.

  • their family is so cute

  • A lot of people with Aspergers arent this nerdy. This guy would be a nerd even without Aspergers.

  • why cure it ?

  • this new youtube cuts off everything at the end

  • asspies

  • He sounds like Daniel Radcliffe in some parts of the video lol

  • I have asperger's and social anxiety, which is making life very difficult for me right now in my youth

  • @ColdHearted117 ANYONE WHO BULLIES NEEDS TO BE JAIL I AM SICK OF HEARING PEOPLE KILLING THEMSELFS

  • I'm an aspie with mad social skills, I'm 20 and last friday I went into a club and danced with about 8 different girls and ended up in a big makeout session with one of them, a very good looking asian girl, she had some nuerotypical douchebags trying to hit on her but I knew more about pickup and game and body language, through STUDYING cmon guys don't hate on nuerotypicals, beat them at their own game, we can do crazy as feats of intellectual brilliance this other stuff is EASY

  • @Ihatemyusernamemore Show those nuerotypicals how to dance and make out with girls.

  • @Ihatemyusernamemore I have never been diagnosed with assburgers but allot of the symptoms seem to be ringing the truth for me. Particularly making conversation with other people. How exactly did you study body language so that you could make conversation without being awkward?.

  • @MrNinjaSpartan A pickup artist called Kurt Spelling, he has heaps of videos on mindsets and confidence, being an alpha male, body language and what to say to girls and how to handle the problem of not knowing what to say. It's all free on his website so just type in "Kurt Spelling free for all" in the searchbar. Also lots of articles on line explain body language but I'd start with kurt spelling's stuff.

  • @Ihatemyusernamemore 'pick up artist' oh christ, those are the most pathetic people I'm aware of.

  • @FecklessCretin cool opinion bro, I bet you know it all you know cause you get all the girls, fuck those losers who try to help socially innept men to restore the balance and improve their lives what do they know

  • @Ihatemyusernamemore please i beg you to give a fellow mind some advices. :(

  • @vebgra I followed the advice of this guy called Kurt Spelling who teaches pick up alongside general confidence and self developement, he has heaps of videos on here and on his site all completely free(he used to charge for entry but he's given it away for free expecting people to have a kind of "pay it forward" attitude) and as well as his book and videos I'd recommend reading "The Game" by Neil Strauss and "The Venusian Arts Handbook" you have to practice alot with this knowledge though

  • @Ihatemyusernamemore tthank you

  • @Ihatemyusernamemore Exactly. An aspie who becomes fluent in neurotypical social skills is like an immigrant who becomes fluent in the language of the country he migrates to... The learning and analysis of it alone makes them better than the "native speakers".

Davis Lynch (the greatest filmmaker today) has asperger's... Or at least his persona gives that impression.

  • @PrimericanIdol David* Lynch. lol

  • @Ihatemyusernamemore Well yeah if you really want to and you can get the ourage then yeah i bet it wouldnt be a problem for a lot of aspies to pick up chicks because if you would have the true ambition and drive then a lot of aspies learn very easiy and get really good at what they do/are interested in/trying to learn. I mean you dont really have to be good at socializing to pick up girls, just learning by heart how to do it will work some of the times and if you try enough

  • ummm he seems like a nerd, not so much aspergers

  • @CaliCosmicTV no, that's definitelty aspergers. a lot of people with aspergers are what some call Nerds

  • Why am i living... )':

  • I have Asperger's to and I am proud to have it :)

  • Wow. This guy is very smart.

@alih92 -- Lol. That`s what my best friend just said =P

  • I think he could actually have Narcissistic Personality Disorder; he's too 'able' to be Asperger...

  • Aspergers = Assburgers, hurr durr an oxymoron

  • Comment removed

  • The problem is with the fukin' neurotypicals not aspies. Fuck NTs!

  • @joncobber Relax man. People can be ignorant but blaming NTs like this won't make this world any more tolerant.

  • Reuben is just adorable. He shouldn't change. =)

  • i am 13 and i have Asperger

  • I have a 9 year old son with Asperger. This guy is amazing and 154 IQ geeeeezzzz!

  • Its kind of like a super power? or Xmen

  • what is the thing a 3:28-29 called ?

  • Can a person have a.s without being a savant?

  • @rob16248 yes most people with AS are not Savants but many are highly intellegent

  • @rob16248 yes they can it just depends on the person!

  • I'm an Aspie as well. I love looking at the inner workings of mechanical devices.

  • He seems like a nice kid. Sure he has different interests and stuff but he is still a good kid. Why bully?

  • I'm assuming they mean academic IQ only.

  • i got Aspergers too

  • he sounds like harry potter

  • i got this shit

  • Does anyone know if Einstein was diagnosed with Autism?

  • @aliciaanne He is suspected to have it but the diagnoses didn't exist in his life time, the diagnoses didn't come along until I think it was the 50's and not become fully recognized until the early nineties here in the USA at least.

  • I'm not being rude I Have Asperger's. That isn't a game boy that's a Nintendo DS

  • "Other people can socialize better than I can but, I can think better than they can..So nrr..." lol :D

  • Am I the only one that thinks Reuben is very, very cute?

  • @animeaddict13 I agree completely i would date him

  • @terunightdream

    Me too :)

  • This kid is awesome!!!! I want to meet him x) hes a f**king genius!

  • xD this is what happens when we advance too much in this world,

if he lived in the jungle and was occupied with hunting and trying to servive

he would never feel this way and he could sleep anywhere he likes

  • This is simeon, reubens brother and i can honestly say after watching this again that i was a fucking wierd kid. 0.o

  • @simeonwalsh As a complete stranger, I can say that you probably still are.

  • @burns1234100 And i, having never met you, would remind you to shut the fuck up.

  • wow Why am I living ? :S I still ask myself this and I'm not even so unhappy anymore..

  • Having Asperger's syndrome does not automatically make you very intelligent. I am 13 years old and have Asperger's syndrome and I have mildly struggled with mathematics in the past but I am good at science and english and am very good at languages. I like to think that there is something different about me which is medically recognized and I am not emotionally pained to think that will always struggle with socialization.

  • Huh, I've looked all over the internet on stuff about aspberger's. A few things were definitely true with me, or had been true when I was younger. But most of it wasn't. But this guy seems a lot more like me than anything else I was reading. I know it's different for anyone and everyone who has it though. Either I'm the fool or the scientists are the fools for making their lists seem like the things on them will definitely be true to the people that have the disorder.

  • kid is awesome

  • All you people with asbergers dont listen to stupid people saying stupid things to you because they dont know what asbergers really is. You have to support eachother and do fun things together. Watch Temple Grandin here on youtube. Shes a professor/a visual thinker / and is an autist. shes amazing and so are you!

  • Yeah I have Aspergers too, I am gifted, but a very lonely guy. Nothing new there.

  • @kaihiwatari111 actually in puerto rican so you can go fuck yourself

  • @TheSlowBoarder meh ur the inferior one tbh any one hating on a disability is an inferior being its fact ul only get as far as Jeremy Kyle show as i see it u filthy little orc

  • Great comment at 2:58 - 3:08. Pretty much sums up Aspergers. Excellent

  • WoW.. so thats what its like for others too? Sigh I'm a bit relieved and also a little angry.

  • What's the thing in 3:50 called?

    It's amazing!

  • I was diagnosed when i was 3, and i sort of believed i had it from looking back at how i acted towards people (i.e. being a walking dictionary, and took literal interpretations, and near-mechanical routines), but now that i'm 21, i seem to get along with people really well, can interpret people's facial expressions, tone of voice, and lines of dialogue that don't sound to literal, and held a job without assistance.

I just wonder if i even had AS. Or is it very high functioning?

  • @helljumpr5150 If you can't pick up on social cues without concentrating, you probably have something

  • Reuben and Simeon. I see what she did there.

  • Harry Potter!

  • @avelione i know right haha i was just thinking of that!!! hahaha

  • he's got two things aspie AND bright IQ,,,,,there are aspies that just fix watches. guy I really cared about had it he was very tall and very good looking and could do 400 card tricks, but did not read people well, so some are savants this guys is very very bright as well as aspie.

  • @bigkidcountry im not bragging about myself, but around 8th grade when i hit puberty i grew out of my chubby kid years and turned into a 6'4, by the time i graduated highschool that is, athletic guy. I was hit on by girls all the time telling me how cute i was or w/e, good smile, athletic body. I always have to this day a low self esteem view of myself but ive been told constantly by third party members that im attractive, so there, refuted your statement and answered your questions ;)

  • I dont get this I have aspergers sydrome but im horrible in school.

  • Actually Einstein's IQ was never tested really because he died before there was the charts on the IQ BUT they did base it off of him because originally they thought his brain was ten times larger because he was so smart but he was just the same! BTW I am NOT trying to sound like a know at all I also have Asperger's to and don't know how to put this! :)

  • @doodlebuggy15 ughh i know how you feel, i have it too, and ALL the time i come off as a "know it all" or i come off as being rude when i don't intend it. my roomate at college constantly called me a smart ass :P

  • @cabot2jville2010 Yep sometimes it really bugs me because when I do talk and people don't really understand what I am saying and think it is rude when really it isn't happened all the time when I was a kid! Also my special interest is American History mostly from American Revolution to about the 1980's and I am in my class and know all of this on the Revolutionary war and people are like, "how do you know all of this"! Ugh!

  • @doodlebuggy15 Same here I am a senior in High school and I know how it is like to feel as if you are a "know at all" because I am like that in my science class that I am taking and was like that all through out my years in junior high and high school! I know a lot on mostly tv shows that I like to watch and I am like you I LOVE American History but from the civil war to about the 1970's. I enjoy reading mostly on the wars!

  • is it weird that I fancy him..

  • @monkeycars911 no it's not because I do too!!:D

  • @violinist881 but I just found out that he's transsexual.
