Another cool (and very unknown) feature of the antimatter relay is that the more EMC it has stored, not only will it make nearby condensers and collectors work several times faster but it will also destroy items put in it faster. Check the EE wiki for more info.

hi direwolf today i installed redpower2 and i hava industrial craft installed but the copper and tin from the two mods isn't the same when you have smelted it in a furnace and i don't know why. can you please help me with that problem :)

@kskjeld They don't have to be the same, they're interchangable. Which means that you can use both kinds in any copper or tin recipe.

Collectors and Condensers can be fed by multiple relays. So if you have a condenser with a relay on all four sides, it can upgrade things to dark matter pretty quickly. It's rather expensive to set up, but in my opinion, quite worth it.

@lawrencejeffrey I think you need a better computer dude. It doesn't have to godly but just decent to run all the mods and minecraft itself and if you can't get a new computer try to find simple minecraft texture packs and switch some settings lower settings to boost your fps

@coolefc48 He can't give the full .minecraft because it is illegal to give out minecraft.jar files, meaning all the class files will have to be added manually, making the download pointless :/

You could craft and hook up a tesla coil or two in your dark-room to the door mechanism with a slight delay so when you flip the lever the tesla coil kills any mobs that might've spawned inside, then the door opens and you can go in without worrying that a creeper might blow the whole thing apart ;))

Though i think that might mean you would also want to move the outside switch a little further away, and uncouple the inside switch from the tesla coil mechanism ofc. :p

@WaKeVajZet I know, i did something similar in my world in my mushroom farm area and the darkroom i built for the moistener next to it, stuck some glass on most of the floors, but i just love both the sentiment of allowing the mobs to spawn but just killing them to get those extra sweet automated pieces of loot from them which do accumulate in the long run, so i'm going to be redoing my own place when i get around to playing again later :D

Hey,since you got curplus of energy,put one more of your condensers adjacent to Antimatter,so you have one antimatter realy supplying energy to two condensers,instead of one,and use glowstone collector that you have left on the third condenser,so you have third condenser powered by two glowstone collectors.

@direwolf20: You should build a few Automatic Crafting Tables and Philosopher's Stones to convert the Cobblestone, Dirt, and Sand into Redstone so that the Antimatter Relay gets double the EMC instead 1.5x. Also, you should make the floors in your dark room glass so that mobs don't spawn.

I have a picture on my Twitter (@iisamonkey) of a creation made using redpower that produces 12 cobblestone per round and is self powering. If used with an antimatter relay can produce 2m emc in no time. This isn't a Twitter ad, I just though Direwolf should build it :P

Dire, you should route your cobble that's going into your recyclers to your antimatter relay, and use the EMC to charge a Klien Star, which can be used in the Dark Matter Furnace even more effeciently than coal!

You should put all of your future effort to getting a klain star! I got it and it made it very easy to get more things with a relay when you have a cobble factory connected to the relay. The klain star can convert its emc into matter in a philosophers stone. I got all of the end game items and a fully upgraded star right after making the first star.
