How does the input/timing for this work? Because even if the crumple counts as them in the air, 'gief still has to be in the air to get the ult to even come out, doesnt he?

Yes, characters count as being aerial after they land on their knees in focus crumple. Why do you think it was that when you hit a crumpled opponent too late they jump back as if in the air?

But on the positive side, if you made it to 10 seconds then you saw T.Hawk get grabbed. The point was to show it was possible to do it from focus crumple. So I am glad that my message still got across to you, a minute faster than most, despite your hatred of Yakety Sax.

@chikeedoo When a character hit by a focus attack crumples, the moment their knees touch the ground they are considered to be in a jumping state. Therefor, moves like Siberian Blizzard can connect. A simple way to test this is to just hit your opponent with a move that won't knock them down after a crumple. Notice how if you do it early they stay on their feet, but if you wait until their knees touch the ground, the pop into the air.

I never got it to work after a Lvl 3 focus. A Lvl 2 focus, however, I land alot.

Finally got it to work. Sorta tricky, my general guideline would be, as they're about to slump to the ground after kneeling. Varies with so many people. Still, very useful, the damage after focus crumple is less than the Final Atomic Buster.Missing with this technique is brutal though.
