I have an old kenmore portable dishwasher. It works perfectly but I've noticed it always has some water in the bottom when it's not in use. Is that normal?

Tim, you dont have to take the plastic of the tablet it dissolves very easily :-P I looked this vid up because i have this bottle called rinse aid, where do i put rinse aid? is it substitute for tablet or do i use both. Good informative video if you dont ask you dont know, keep up the good work.

I liked the video, but found it just raises more questions than it answers.

Can I use a dishwasher to wash any kind of dish, or do they have to be a certain size? Also, I see plates and bowls, but what about large bowl-like mugs? Or gravy boats?

Do the dishes have to be dirty first, or can I put clean dishes in there without damaging the mechanism?

Once the dishes are clean, how many times can I use them before I need to wash them again?

What are dish towels for?

Can a dishwasher feel pain?

Using Heated Dry uses a lot of extra electricity. That's in my dishwashers case, my dishes dry enough without it with time.

Cascades all-in-one tablets don't need to be removed from packaging, they just dissolve inside the main cup. :)
