@ermerritt I just read about the story and heard about everything recently, and I must say I understand the pain. I hate the death penalty as it stands but for people to have no physical evidence or anything and still kill a man many years after a crime is a huge injustice. I'm not going to say that he is completely innocent or take any sides in that regard but I do hate the death penalty and should he be innocent, RIP Troy Davis.

@ermerritt I will continue to dislike certain sports teams and kinds of music but this is a real matter and I can't stand these retards with their slurs and judgemental attitudes. Let's say one man is innocent out of 100 people but I don't know who. I'm the kind of guy that would keep all 100 of those people alive to save the innocent man out of the bunch. And in reality, there will be many more than just one. How can a person even live with him/herself knowing they killed one innocent man?

Witnesses recanting their stories happens frequently and is not held as reliable evidence. I cannot say if the man is innocent or guilty, but I know that a lot of the things that are being brought up now will probably not save him. Once the jury makes that decision it is almost impossible to change it. Personally, if there is any doubt, don't kill anyone.

There is no ballistic evidence. There isn't even evidence. There is no murder weapon, there is no DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) evidence, 10 witnesses have retracted their statements, citing that they were pressured by the police, 7 out of the 9 witnesses have written official affidavits, retracting their testimonies [next comment]

I am not familiar with this case but I have a question if anyone can help me. Was this the first and only crime this person has been charged with? Did he have a clean record with no priors? If this is the case, I will do all I can do to assist in his release. I have found that often those wrongly convicted have such a record as bad actors that this is just one event in a lifetime of crime. It is those cases that I have no empathy for.

Anyone who feels that this man does not deserve a day in court is ignorant. EVERYONE deserves a FAIR trial. Almost all of the eye witnesses recanted thier statements. I am not saying that he is not guilty, but I am saying that before we are hasty to murder a man, we should be 100% sure that he is guilty.
