  • Hey EVERYONE!!!! i was dead i was hear lol

  • awesome. so close to the stage!

  • e vo i no show deles no zequinha

  • I was some where close to this camera guy against the stage. Cool vibe with anticipation of the hurricane right off shore.

  • eddie vedder,.,.,hmm sounds like darth vader or a serial killer

  • When the hat falls off and the hair comes out, you know Eddie meant business

  • wooo ahh yeah, FUCK IT UP YEAH * bloody fckin majestic solo comes in* you guys are so lucky you saw them live

  • LaLLaPaLooZa =DD Bicentennial Park a day to remember....right before Hurricane Andrew slammed us....this was by far the best lineup of all the tours ...only band missing was AIC..it's a shame they got lumped with Dinosaur JR and Primus in 93 ;(

  • RHCP, PJ and Nirvana (If I'm not mistaken they all toured together for a couple of months in the early 90's)all in one day that would have been heaven...

  • @viper2131 nah, Nirvana never played Lollapalooza, however I do believe Soundgarden played it in 92

  • Wow. Time flies.. I was there! Flipping my lid.. Next morning boarded up 6 houses and got our asses handed to us thx to hurricane Andrew ..

  • God i love mikes pants . !! the zig zag man .

  • i hate miami florida because people listen to pure shit music fuck

  • Great show! One day before Hurricane Andrew slammed into Homestead. I was there!

  • WHAT THE FUCK ?? Didnt Hurricane Andrew slam into Miami on 8-22-1992? I remember that distinctly.......this concert footage is a FUCKING FRAUD

  • Comment removed

  • @Hunkola Hurricane Andrew hit one or two days later! I was working on the Mac Arthur causeway at the time which is near the park where the concert was held. We had to re-locate our equipment to higher ground before the storm hit!

  • @shokeable -- OH FUCK! Wasnt there military orders to evacuate the city? If so, why did Pearl Jam have a concert? Doesnt make sense....

  • @Hunkola I was at this show in Miam. There wasn't an order to leave till the next day, and that we did! Awsome Concert by the way!

  • @enayray16 --- LOL, that is crazy shit......Category 5 headed your way and you hold off evacuation for a concert? YOU SOME WACKY MOFOS.....

  • @Hunkola yeah but it was an EPIC concert!

  • @tidouble1 --- LOL.....you Pearl Jam fans are some crazy mofos......although it would be fucking cool to see them performing "Even Flow" while 100 mph winds were whipping through that concert........I remember being at a Metallica show while it was thunderstorming ---- COOLER THAN FUCK !!

  • @Hunkola HA no no the storm was the next day. This was the day before. Which means it was perfect out, as it usually is the day before a big hurricane.

  • @Hunkola the hurriane didn't come till the next day and a half. At the time we went to the concert it was a tropical storm and not a threat. We evacuated the day after the concert. It didn't hit till the middle of the night. concert was over!

  • i caught this concert at nawlins uno lake front arena right after hurricane andrew came in. 20" inches of mud a blotter hit and 100,000 pairs of shoes later ,still a show I will always remember! The sun set as Ministry came on and my hit kicked in WOW!

  • i'm always wondering how all those hair fit under the cap. :)

well, thanks for uploading this old piece, awesome!

  • Does anyone know where in Miami and if it was before or after "Andrew" I was 10 at the time and had a cassette tape of ten. I just want to know where I was when they were here, and yes I can remember that far back.

  • @DarkEmbrace1066

It was at Bicentennial Park and I think it was 2 days before the hurricane.

  • @stergo thanks for the info man

  • @DarkEmbrace1066

Bicentennial Park in downtown. Now it's immediately north of the arena (AAA).

Concert was on Aug 22 and the hurricane hit land on Aug 24

May be why the day of the concert the weather was perfect.

  • Sorry to all of you people that think the old drummer of this band either made them or contributed to a large part of their success.

    That's ridiculous.

I'm not saying that a drummer isn't important but in a band like Pearl Jam where you have so many stellar contributors, it's downright retarded to assume that.

Most people I know dig the melody or lyrics in Rock music...if you want beats then go listen to techno or rap.

  • i totally agree dave ABRUZZESE put the energy and the soul OF pearl jam!

now is still good but no as big like when dave was there

    come back dave please!!!!

  • Dave Abbruseze really made that band what it was. I think when he left the band the band lost part of its soul.

  • Dave Abbruzzese, thank you.

  • wow, awesome. Love the energy they could put out when they were young. Favorite band, favorite vocalist and this is a prime example of why.

  • singer looks like he's on some good drugs :]

  • @NorthTxBalla thats no ordinary singer... thats Eddie Vedder

  • lol that's true!!! just couldn't think of his name at that second

  • I was at this show!!! I was 14 and it was my first major concert!!

  • can u say lucky

  • @tidouble1 you bastard

    lol

  • @tidouble1 ME TOO!!! I was 14 and it was my Second!!! but my first PJ, first of like 15!!!

  • Comment removed

  • @luisjohnp It was Lollapalooza 92.

  • @tidouble1

    great live band...

  • @tidouble1 Wish I was 14 by '92... sucks, really does...

  • @tidouble1 OMG!!! Im so jealous of you right now! I would give anything to have been there but I was only 12 then!!!

  • @tidouble1 I am SO jealous!!!

  • Days before Hurricane Andrew Hit! :O

  • I was there! Good Times! :D

  • Camera operator needs lessons.

  • i'm assuming it was a guy with a camcorder in the midst of a legion of fans jumping and shaking, not to mention pearl jam rocking the stage out, with the cam operator himself reveling in their glory

  • why do they play this song so fast now i like it like this :P

  • because matt cameron can't seem to figure out THIS is how the song is supposed to be played.

  • to be honest i prefer it how they play it now...and its not just matt...i think the rest of the band would have said, it needs to be slower to him, its obviously a joint decision, its still amazing

  • matt cameron is a douche with pearl jam songs that aren't from albums that he was actually involved with

  • hell yes i remember it like it was yesterday hell of a concert sound garden ministry rocked it went to the shelbourne and rented after all day triping balls and they kicked us out ofthe hotel at about 1 am cuz of andrew will never forget it.......

  • Could Eddie possibly BE any sexier? I don't think so. It's so awesome when he freaks out and starts thrashing all over the stage. He has no inhibitions!

  • hell yea miami!!!

  • omg, they are so amazing live :\

  • I was there too. Hurricane Andrew hit us two days later. Awesome fucking show. Pearl Jam, Soundgarden, Ministry, Chilli Peppers.

  • I was at this concert...what a crazy week that turned into!!!

  • Fuckin Jeff's crazy rockin out

  • Yea, yea, Dont vote republican!

  • Why not?

  • im pretty sure thats what he says at the end of this song, unplugged.

  • dont care about the crowd love the music and APPRECIATE the talent of pure musical genius!!!! PEARL JAM ROCKS!!! ITS ALL ABOUT THE U CANES!!!!

  • The only minor complaint I have about the videos out there of Lollapalooza 92 is that they don't show enough of the crowd.....I know the band are absolutely on fire but one of the most special things about the shows back then was the intensity of the crowd's reaction.

  • you should be a pro camera op

  • Your PJ videos are the best on the Tube..Thanks for all.

  • I was at Lollapalooza 92!!!!

  • lucky lucky

  • omg..Eddie is hottt

  • this show was two days before hurricane andrew hit Miami, at Bicentennial Park in Miami

  • I was at this show too! my idiot brother wanted to leave before the RHCP came on. he was my ride so I had to leave. I'm still pissed off about it

  • @shokelewis why did he want to leave

  • @shokelewis why did u bring your brother? '

  • @shokelewis >wanted to leave before the RHCP came on.

    >before

Well your brother can go fuck himself.

  • @IveGotNothinToSay

    >green texting on Youtube

    wtfamireading

  • @shokelewis I honestly remember being really let down by RHCP that day. Maybe after Ministry, PJ and Soundgarden + the heat I was spent.

  • I was at the show!!!!

  • awesome 5*+sub+fav!

  • I LOVE watching old footage like this. I love

    that man.

  • Woot! I was there. Though not nearly that close.

Was a great day; hot as hell though. Was the day before Hurricane Andrew hit, actually.

But I agree with another post here... Their energy was incredible back then. Saw them at a place in Miami not long before that (I think it was the Marquis? Was a former theater; maybe someone can confirm that for me), and that was an equally great show.

  • the cameo on the beach

  • big difference how eddie used to sing this song in the early 90's and the way his performance is these days... now it seems to lack of intesity, vibration and feeling. iN THE 2000'S the growling and certain tones don't electrify anymore in the way he sings songs like alive, dissident, once, why go, jeremy, etc, etc..anyway, he`s still a really great musician and powerful singer though....

  • in 2000 the lost their energy but they have it back now

  • ya man understand that. i seen them in hartford ct last summer he had intensity pretty good still... but when he was younger obviously hes naturally gonna have more energy and intsensity. love them growls and tones though.

  • pearl jam is a great band! I`ve seen them live and they`re intense, it`s a pretty decent and honest band.Their albums and their lyrics are fair. And I know years have gone by and I don`t expect an angry Eddie jumping and growling all the time, I just miss certain tones in his voice, that gave that uniqness and personality to some of their songs and to the band....

  • well its understandable hes more laid back now considering hes in his 40's he just doesnt have that kind of energy he did when he was 24... not to mention he was probably drunk/stoned in his earlier performances lol

  • mon morceau favoris!! the best song of the world!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Merci à Pearl Jam (le meilleur groupe de Rock avec une voix en OR : Eddie Vedder!!!! oh ouai!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! .

  • i wonder...

On Rearviewmirror, is this THE gig when they recorded the song?

Cause, it sounds exactly the same... maybe its just me.

  • this song captures the essence of my teenage years. look how much heart they put into it back then

  • Gracias por el video!

    Than You!

    Pearl jam son dioses!

  • whats he say around 3:31?

    lol

  • you guys fucking look amazing

  • stone looks so cool with this hair cut

  • THANKS FOR YOUR PLAYLIST....

  • Lovin the Summertime Roll intro by Eddie.

Stone looks strange when he's bald. He doesn't look like himself.

    Awesome band. Awesome song. Woot.
