This has to be an exhibition, Pete & Mac played each other only twice on the ATP tour, one at the US open ('90) not sure about the other one, but Pete did win on both occasions.
Mac is 11 yrs past his prime and Pete is very near his one way or another. Would love to see 84' Mac vs 95' Sampras, center stage at Wimbeldon. Sound like fun anyone?
@Cash4Faysh are you sure it was an exibition? doesn't seem... I meant that, even if they tried to, they never really had the chance to volley... always winning serves, second serves (hence baseline game) or passing shot...
@iosonodella2i; Pete Sampras did not retire until 2002. He won his last US Open in 2002. This was Pete when he was only 24. He had many years of tennis after this.
@TheTopspin77 I meant McEnroe, sorry I haven't made myself clear, McEnroe retired in 1992, so this had to be an ex. :). I know sampras played a lot after this...

@jcbluze you misunderstand me, I meant McEnroe :) He (McEnroe) retired in 1992, so this has to be an exhibition :)
