this may have been a year ago but seriously. they are not doing this for just Sales. Dora has been around for a Long time and it's almost retarted to keep her looking like she's 5 years old. People Grow up everyday! and if your Kid asks for some platform heels they are Stupid. you don't want change just do what my sister is doing. make your kid watch Old tapings of it. and if you do that you yourself are calling your kid stupid.

ok 1st off the new Dora will not have a show on TV,it's just on the computer 2nd.Dora is NOT wering platforms,there flats 3rd Dora links is made 4 oldder girls if younger Dora fans want 2 go 2 the site and get the doll, then it 's up 2 there moms.

ok I understand your point....but first of all..I recorded this video 7 months ago. This was when the whole Dora hype had just started and no one knew exactly what they were planning to do as far as revamping the Dora image. I appreciate your response but right now it is of no relevance to me considering the doll has since came out and EVERYONE sees where they were going with it.

The new Dora isn't going to be a new show & she isn't for 4 year olds. She's for the older girls as an alternative to Barbies & Bratz so they have a respected & admired icon to understand that when they become pre-teens, it doesn't have to be all about Hanna Montana & boys. Just my opinion, but people have taken it waaay too far in their worring. Again, just my opinion.
