Nice job building this, Toby. I'm finding myself now wanting to do a build too. Glad we were able to get it running and now you should be able to go practice. I read the build thread on RC Explorer...Next to get you taking at least some HD video with the GoPro cam on there (even if not FPV). Do you know what the total thrust those motors will push so we can figure out your payload?
@jeffmcclain Thanks for your help! i cant believe that dumb wiring mistake kept me from flying it for a month >:( i ruined one of the motors i think.... maybe after work you can take a look at it and see if it can be fixed? I will help you build one if you want. i dont know the thrust but i believe rc explorer has it on his site ill get back to you on that
@jeffmcclain I dont know becuz theres no dent in it or any thing it appears to look fine. the bell of the motor is off centered and it causing a lot of friction and vibrations making it un flyable at the moment
