  • im just wondering how to start recording, i have a usb mic, and and a sound board but im still ignorant on how to start recording, i set my default recording device as my usb port, but it still tells me to input a device someone help.

  • shaun tell us a little about why I'm a moron.

  • Lol, i think he went back and dubs himself in asking the Questions. The 2 voices sound too much alike.

  • i have this... very fuckin' complicated! downloading the drivers for this thing is near impossible. and trying to get a hold of tech support! good luck!

  • @dac6969 It's only as complicated as it needs to be, and it is a very comprehensive solution to music production, hence some knowhow is needed. I found downloading drivers very straightforward once product registration was complete. In comparison to other production suites the software is remarkably intuitive and Cakewalk have done (IMO) a superb job of seamlessly integrating top spec hardware with massively capable software, I love the workflow on this system.

  • If you need help with any aspect of the VS-700 platform, join the Cakewalk Forum, we'll help get you up and running for sure.
