ninetail released naruto with red chilli pepper pill and all eight gates opened, he'd explode lol, Lee was and still is definately the best and most emotionally charged character. I guess he represents the everyman in ninjadom, and that fight between Lee and Gaara felt like a bitchslap to the face. Loved him in the third movie too

The idea that i was trying to portray was that Lee was looking back on his times with Guy after Guy had died.

I haven't kept up with shippuden, so i don't know if Guy is actually dead... but that's what i was trying to get across anyway. xD

when i first saw rock lee,i didnt like him,but when i saw his story,of his struggle to become a great ninja it just flipped my expectations of him.He is truly one of my favorite characters on the show cause he puts more heart, soul, and, perseverance into everything he does,more than any other character, and never gives up.This amv truly warms my heart everytime i watch this vid. That's why Lee's the best Ninja imo. He's faced hardships, he's worked hard to push past them, then he's dragged back down. Then later, when Naruto's about to die, Lee returns, kicking Kimimaro's weapon away and saving Naruto's life.

Lee may seem goofy, but he's really the most serious character on the show. Nothing matters more to him than working hard to show everyone that he's worth something.

it's true. one of the show's greatest problems is it fails to show how strong some of it's characters are. Lee could be Hokage. He's already stronger and faster than most great ninja (neji, sasuke etc), and he's got a much harder work ethic and persistence than naruto. And he's only like 15...it doesn't make sense that he's only a chuunin, he is so friggin strong as a ninja

i understand that. but it's not even with lee. the show is truly inconsistent with it's character's abilities. heck, look at naruto. they tried to show how strong he had gotten training with jiraiya, and how? he still doesn't ever do anything besides kage bunshin (which never works), and he still can't do the rasengan without creating a clone. No character development. And yet he along with sakura somehow hold their own against kakashi who is forced to use his sharingan. makes no sense

no i read the manga 'cause the show is way to friggin slow. But it's true. They only talk about character development. Kakashi might be like "wow, naruto is a real challegnge", but then they never show naruto do anything uber cool (except for the wind shuriken rasengan). But think about it. naruto has trained with kakshi and jiraiya, 2 incredible ninjas. what jutsus do they have him show? kage bunshin, rasengan, summoning technique, and the transformation jutsus...not impressive

i am in shippuuden. they never show sasuke being faster. when? they only show him being super fast when he almost kills naruto at oro's place. but lee, 3 years ago, could travel super fast without wearing weights. since then, u have to imagine he's now wearing weights probably 2x as strong. i agree that they probably intend for sasuke to be faster. but they do a crappy job proving it.

I doubt Sasuke's -MEANT- to be faster, so much as he's mastered what he did against Gaara. Enhancing his own speed with Chakra. He may be as fast as Lee, but he can't maintain it all day. Lee's speed is natural, Sasuke's is enhanced with Chakra to match Lee's speed. The more Chakra he pumps into it to keep up with Lee, the faster it drains. I think that he does keep to that speed for Chakra control rather than surpass-

There may be a misconception of how fast Lee is compared to Sasuke in Shippuden because the only time he's taken off his weights is against Gaara, and that was not in shippuden obviously. There's your only real comparison so if you want to compare them yourself, feel free. What I said is my own opinion on the matter, and it's what -I- think is right, it's not absolute fact.
