The thing on Mario's head is not a "Doctors Light", nor will it ever be on doctors unless there is radiation. It is a radiation monitor, and it glows different colors to warn the doctor of when they have had too much radiation in their bodies, hence giving it the name "Doctors Light".

I'm sorry smash bros fans but. CLONE CHARACTERS STINK!. Clone characters are just alternate versions of originals. Like Dr. Mario is just Mario's clone b'cuz it the Dr. version has similar move sets with the same effects as the originals. If nintendo should introduce more characters they should have a completely different move set with effects that are different from originals that way players will have a variety of moves they can get used to.

These characters are SUPPOSED to have similar movesets because they are the same person. And no, they do not have the same effects. Dr. Mario has electric and megavitamin effects rather than fire effects.

Having a bunch of different characters is fine but sometimes it's nice to have the option to play as a faster Link or stronger Mario.
