Noor jehan whom pakistanis call madam was the mashuka of yahya khan. In the book "Noor Jehan and I" by her former husband Shaukat Hussain Rizvi mentioned that she was also caught with Nazar Muhammad (Cricketer and father of Mudassar Nazar) on the bed. She was a whore. look at her makeup dress and eyes full of sex even when she was in her old age in her 60's.Noor jehan married a man ten years younger than her when she was 35. obviously it was for sex. runa laila a whore has married 4 times
it is a good song because it tells about some one's life.Aye dillae nadan is a beautiful song.Sometime's even i want to sing this song for my mother.a beautiful song by lataji.
Translation. =>1 Oh Innocent Heart.. Oh Innocent Heart what is the wish for .. what is the effort for? Repeat(1) OH Innocent Heart We starve.. Why we starve in desert It feels, wave is thirsty in its river How difficult puzzle it is,, why it is so one shadow is talking to me Repeat(1) it is disaster, it is great grief we cant speak his name what we want life is silent , it is not in senses earth and heavens are silent so why this heart beat ( words) is every where?
KAmAL AMrohi - This song boasts of meaninful direction. Look at the camera work and shots, it is a work of a true director. A director who is a auteur, who takes his film seriously, who uses the visuals besides dialogues to convey the emotion. A gem that I never knew of, Bollywood we need some of this talent again. :) HOPE
let us not only ask questions why 30 years ago there was real music! if you really want to find out you can. I believe that the KALJUG has no heart or emotion, it is only based on material uplifting and no LOVE!!!
very nice song,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, thank u for uploading this video song,, i have never heard this song before .. it's really nice song, and tragedy song
"Have you ever seen a waterfall retrace its path?...I have seen it...rather heard it in didi's voice. The tinkling notes of her taan tumble forth like a waterfall plunging down a cliff and then go back exactly the same way."
very apt interpretation of "Lataji's" eternal singing;just notice the melody when there is no music & she renders the "bol" in an extremely "Sureeli" voice...i.e "Yeh zameen chup hai, aasman chup hai" wah!!!
Additionally, if you would be kind enough, go back a couple of pages and look at my futile attempts at translating this masterpiece in to the English. There should be two verses, by a couple of comments apart, in the next page or two.

Such captivating song from Razia Sultan. Lata's voice is just too haunting. The melody in the background is an addition to making this song a perfect gem. Hema looks phenomenal in here :)
hum bhatakate hain, kyon bhatakate hain dashta-o-seharaa mein kyaa kayaamat hain, kyaa musibat hain kah naheen sakate, kis kaa aramaan hain jindagee jaise khoyee khoyee hain, hairaan hairaan hain ye jameen choooop hain, aasamaan choop hain fir ye dhadakan see chaar soo kyaa hain aye dila-ye-naadaan ayesee raahon mein kitane kaante hain aarajooon ne har kisee dil ko dard baante hain kitane ghaayal hain, kitane bismil hain is khudaee mein yek too kyaa hain ONE OF MY FAV song

In my humble opinion, 'struggle' is way too far off and when incorrectly implied, eludes any semblance of seamless and cohesive meaning.

I will respectfully disagree. In this particular context, Justujoo is referring to 'Curiosity' in the sense that the heart wishes, and is curious. Both 'Arzoo' and 'Justajoo' mean 'wish'. She is asking her heart what does it want, what is it's wish. Hope this clears.
