  • im 16 and i can double declutch in my rally car- yes it is legal for a 16 year old to drive rally cars on proper stages (single venues only though)

  • Incorrect. You don't usually want to use your heel...as I can see why you are jerking too much on the brake pedal when you reach over for the gas...which in a real car would be incredibly shaky.

  • nice

  • what game is this?

  • it must suck having so many views and not being monetized :S why arent you?

  • Murcielago?

  • What game is this?

  • Double clutch is not useful, unless you drive a 1950's truck

  • His technique is actually very good despite the brake pumping--reason being the brake pedal having a spring making it soft

  • sa marche avec forza motorsport 4 ?

  • actually that wasnt perfect heel'n'toe, he was so much changing the amount of force, applied to breaks, at the moment he hit throttle. So he is either locking the wheels at that moment, or not breaking hard enough the rest of the time, or maybe both

  • @Andrew09091990 Yep, it wasn't perfect.

Imagine trying to do Heel toe with a soft brake pedal, you will get this result.

The force applied to the brake pedal can be constant in a real car because of it's hydraulic and becomes hard when depressing the pedal even when applying 90 kg of pressure.

Pedal n a G25 is driven by a spring making it too soft.

  • @wiederhe I find the spring for the G25 to be quite firm, though.

  • honestly in my eyes and understanding the basics of a manual car it looks like his technique is perfect why the hate?

  • can someone explain the REAL way to do it...im hearing way too many different opinions

  • Nice socks matee XD x

  • Your heel and toe is pretty bad..... When you reach for the gas pedal, your braking input changes a lot.

To heel and toe properly you are supposed to keep the same pressure on the brake pedal as you twist your right foot..

Also, your double clutching at the end is 100% wrong. You are supposed to heel and toe on BOTH clutch inputs!! If not you are fucking your car up.

Trust me, if you do that on the track, you will be driving on the grass in no time.....

  • @Katlunazul im not a great driver but if you kept the same pressure on the brakes as the clutch is engaged while disengaging the clutch wouldn't that cause the car to lock up in hard braking?

  • @JeusDante Nope, that is why you are heeling right? To keep match the revs of the engine to the ones on the transmission.

As long as you rev match it correctly, you do not even feel the gear change. (which is the point of heel and toe to begin with).

Double clutching would be the same idea, just using the clutch twice to preserve the synchros on the gears (or if you do not have synchros... but that would be a really old car).

  • White Sock Power!!!!!

  • Would this actually help with learning to drive?

  • Are those racing socks?

  • My only real complaint about the Logitech G25/27 is that pedals are set up horribly for heel and toeing. If anyone can do a perfect heel/toe downshift on those pedals, they've got to have the most messed up looking feet on the planet.

  • Double clutching isn't difficult..

  • All of you realise he is doing it wrong right? You heel on toe on the second declutch in a double declutch, he is h&t'ing on the first.

Then again he is running standard rFactor which doesn't feature a working software clutch. Try it yourself, you can change gears perfectly fine (no grinding, missing, etc) if you don't use the clutch.

A real driver uses the Grinding Tranny Mod 2.0 with rFactor which actually simulates a real racing dogbox gearbox and clutch.

  • @gold333 Yeah right, I'm doing Heel toe in my car everyday and it takes me 90 minutes for going to work and even more to get back home to make 25 kms. That's the real thing in real mode. That's real life you now!

    Fucking traffic!

  • @gold333 Actually you are wrong. the heal and toe should be before you depress the clutch and engage gear for the second time so that the revs are matched with the road speed as you select the gear. try it on a REAL car with worn / no sycro and you will see what i mean. the revs must match after the initial gear is disengaged and clutch released and before the gear selection process for the desired gear begins.

  • @gold333

Omg... Why are you so worried about this video. Or if a "real driver" uses whatever mod which simulates a penis enlargement on a video game? Go back to your console.

  • As soon as people install Grinding Tranny mod, which simulates grinding gears, missed gears, etc. they realise that they haven't been able to drive afterall. And they thought they could, like this guy.

  • @gold333 Grinding tranny mod is only for rFactor? Can it be applied for GTR2?

  • @CivicB16Project Not at all, in order to post a proper video I need a camera for the pedal rig, one for the gear stick and the last one for the rev counter (needle shouldn't move at all when releasing the clutch, Heel toe is useless otherwize).

  • @CivicB16Project Sure I will. Let me buy 3 cameras 300 bucks each then install them in a 406 Coupé V6. But I will, I've got my word.

  • Absolute sh!t get a rwal car then practice if i had a ane id .practice in that too

  • @number1stunner187 I've got 3 real cars asshole! and I'm 49 years old, you could be my soon.

I took a look at your videos and I've got to say, I'm not impressed by your driving skills.

  • Just your usual ye olde regular techniques... Nice socks too.

  • @theeltea Damned, you're right, I feel old today.

Thank you for appreciating my socks!

  • heres mine :)

    /watch?v=5y5aDD6rOfg

  • to do heel and toe, you must do double clutching as well? sorry if its a dumb question

  • @helvetikko Heel Toe is double clutching and braking when downshifting.

    It wasn't a dumb question.

  • I watch these videos just to see peoples socks :)

  • I practiced double clutching heel toe in GT5, and now i can do it in my real car. Downshifting is so much smoother and more fun now. I like it even more than heel toe rev matching. Nothing wrong with learning from a game.

  • is that GTR2? if yes, is that an MC12?

  • At the risk of sounding like a donkey, I'll ask this anyways. I know it's just a game but the technique I saw was better than anything I've seen online so far. I understand the shifting up part but I noticed when you downshifted, you hit the break pedal with your right foot and hit the gas pedal just a tiny bit. Is this to keep up the engine revs to brake smoothly for the next downshift? Did I get it right?(Sorry for being such a pain in the ass but I don't drive stick and need to know.)

  • @dustymiller65 Thank you for your comment. You get it right. This technic prevents compression lock up (locking the driving wheels) when release the clutch.

You can experiment the problem by downshifting to first gear on a slippery condition and releasing the clutch quickly.

  • @dustymiller65 look up "Race Car Driver & His Footwork"

  • @PsykeOut193 Thanks for the info, I'll have a look.

  • i dont know what all negative comment is about, but i learn how to drive stick by play games.first time i drive i did very well, install 2 time out of 1hr drive.which i think is good.very much everything i learn from the game i used it in reality.but i had to make adjustment to somethings to be a good driver, i learned double clutch, heel toe without any problem. so using knowledge from the game actually is good thing..thats way is see it. it help me.and thats that :)

  • @xjohnnyxriverra I couldn't agree more. You can learn from a game as long as it's in simulation mode.

That the reason why, military aviators practice with "Microsoft Flight Simulator" for instance.

However, in my case, I started practicing "Heel toe", at a time there weren't such games, unfortunately.

This technique is all about movement synchronization, the best rig I now for practicing it comes from "Frex" a Japanese company because you could not engage a gear without pressing the clutch.

  • @wiederhe Don't know what country military uses MS Flight simulator must be a poor nation. I agree it does help knowing you a little bit.

  • @xjohnnyxriverra

dont explain your self bro , just tell them to FUCK RIGHT OFF !

pilots learn to fly in simulators , effectivley a clever very expensive games console , so why cant driving techniques be picked up playing a driving sim like gt5 for instance ?

  • GT5!

  • Haha, you completely lose your brake while blipping the gas. I hope you don't try heel n toe in life, cause your technique is rubbish.

  • sweet

  • LOL thats granny shifting not double clutching..

  • @rvsgamer this coming from a guy who has a dance dance revolution montage on his youtibe account

  • MASTER!!!!

  • where is the double clutch up shift

or is there some sort of double clutch down shift now

  • what's the purpous of double-clutching?

  • i want one of those things for a xbox 360, how can i get one?

  • @Th3B1ackDeath you cant

xbox only supports microsoft and fantech wheels

  • what ?

  • Why double clutch?

  • Awesome vid, just what I wanted to see being an aspiring race driver myself.

On a separate note, would you recommend the g25 over the newer g27?

    Thanks again

  • Heel and toe is difficult.

Heck even rev balancing is hard in a diesel.

Tho in my mom's mini I have rev balancing down, just need to move on to actual heel and toe without breaking really sharply.

  • @PhillRC Because you need to do it in real life with real car asshole!

Keep playing video game the way you want, this is not more than a demo.

  • @wiederhe

Yeah, you tell him dude. His technique was spot on PhillRC!

  • @wiederhe why do you have come in and instigate and stir up trouble and insult. soo unnecessary sir.

  • @PhillRC youre dumb and gay Phil

  • @PhillRC why do you even bother trying to interact socially online ? You suck at it. And seem to be a lost case.. Which is the exact opposite of what can be said about the owner of this video, since you can see he is practising what you accuse him of been bad at, then you just look stupid bringing negative shit?? So why dont YOU give up.. ;)

  • @PhillRC never heard of the word racing sim you idiot?

  • @PhillRC Because the game, namely LFS, judging by the engine sound, encourages using this techinque due to the fact that it's a very well done simulation?

  • 0.57 i was aboutta die by laughin :D:D rotfl

  • really bad try man!

  • pesim conduction negtive vote

  • fuckin easy

  • Awsome, I need to practice alot :D

  • damn....i need 3 leeg's to do that.....lol

btw what you can do its rlly cool....:D

  • TOO BADASSS!!!! wat game? wat system? ahhhhhhh i want i want!!!

  • This video is about 1 minute longer than it needs to be

  • what game you where playing???

  • @ojusticeiro2010 its in the description box dude

  • @JamieF12010 Now that's the way to do it :) hope you have lots of success and fun all along the way!

  • @JamieF12010 Hey even with 13 years old you can go karting. Even much sooner than that. And what you learn from karts will be useful in anything racing-related.

  • Man I have to say good footwork even with socks.

  • Why do you dbl clutch? It seems like to me that its not necessary....

  • I love how people post these video's pretending like they can double declutch and heel and toe. Until I tell them to try it without using the clutch and they are like "Hey, that's exactly the same, I never needed to use the clutch". And they suddenly feel like they arent the driving Gods they thought. RF doen NOT CARE ABOUT the clutch.. you can shift seamlessly without using it, even if your timing is completely wrong.

  • The GRINDING TRANNY mod fixes this and prevents you shifting if your timing is wrong. It wakes you up as to how good you really were. Look it up on the forums.

  • Wow this is awesome! i'd do this all day lol

So what exactly is the purpose for doing this? Match the rpm to what? Is this done for exiting corners? Or drifting? Somebody please explain this to me because this is beyond me lol

  • double clutching is an idiot thing, good for nothing! You can kick the throttle while depressing the clutch, no need to switch into neutral and release the cluch pedal! Even race drivers arent using this! Heel and toe is enough for downshifting, no need for this double clutching bullshit!

  • @Jay350iV12 it saves the clutch, faggot. and YES, race drivers don't really need to use it, their clutch is fucking powerful as hell and can withstand the abuse - but it still helps save the clutch. fucking arm-chair theoriest -_-

  • @KayC2SLO talk to your mama like this! (faggot...) why does it save the clutch?? releaseing the clutch in neutral only makes the gearboxs inlet axle make some more turnarounds, which is not needed at all! Heel-toe shifting is for saving the clutch from the force it gets at the first moments at releasing the pedal at dropped engine revs! I never had problems with STOCK BMW m30 clutch on my m70 V12 even at racing use! And i had never usen double clutching! (sorry if my english is not so good)

  • 48 old with a girlfriend and still play video games, you must have a super cock!

  • nice heal to in your socks lol

  • Fat boy---no job sat at home.

  • what mod? love to know what Porsche your in :)

  • tht is awsome...what game?

  • Nice video. how much did the whole thing cost?

  • souunds like a gtr

  • Don't ride the clutch!

  • @Skyline750 ahahhaha i was thinking the same thing people do not realize it when doing it i suppose but when they replace enough clutches and fly wheels they will learn

  • :) with socks mdr

    very nice vieo

    et beau double debrayage

  • @myo247 Thanks et bonne année

  • put some fuckin shoes on

  • I don't get the point of people who hate sim racing, say that "it's just a game", etc...

Yes it's just a game, don't take it too seriously, but it CAN help people improve their driving. You can become a better racing driver, getting used to close racing in video games. You get used to have cars near you, to let pass someone quicker, to use your mirrors the best way...

Professional racing drivers use sims to learn tracks where they haven't been yet, too.

  • @ricardofcarvalho --- GT4 & 5 and some Lexus, ferrari simulators have been used to help their race drivers get used to race tracks..

  • @Isaachan02 That's true. That's why sim games were made, to give people the feeling of racing, if they can't do it in reality, they can do it virtualy. And by my experience in sim games, they have became more and more like real cars. In fact GT4 now has a competition wich is the GT Academy, race gamers can compete with each other, and may become a real race driver with their experience. And Logitech G25 and G27 are very real wheels. I recommend them at all costs.

    BTW Nice footstream wiederhe

  • @ricardofcarvalho I couldn't agree more. When I go to a track I've never been before, I download it and I get use to use it before to get there (Charage is a good example).

So you don't waste your time learning the track when you're on site (Time is money and it's expensive).

  • @wiederhe

another thing is competition. Sim, or reallife, you can race other people, thats the most important thing for me!

    95% i am racing online.

  • @ricardofcarvalho i agree dude also learns you alot about understeer oversteer lift off oversteer how to correct it without going into a crazy spin also teaches you to EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED.....

  • @ricardofcarvalho I agree... I learned to drive a 5 speed fairly quick....only took an afternoon. I owe it to driving sims. That was when I was 16, and now I am 29.

  • @ricardofcarvalho agree bro. me and fellow autocross competitors in trinidad use gt5 and a g25 to practise race lines and heel and toe.

  • @ricardofcarvalho Case in point (I hate NASCAR, but its the best example I could think of) Denny Hamlin used a simulator to learn Pocono before he ever went there...he won his first time out, and has won several times there since. Sims are extremely useful!

  • @ricardofcarvalho so true :) Not to mention, what if some of us. Feels that achieving the very best you can push your self to. Is entertaining :) ? And like you say, you can get a feeling of how other people tend to "move".. Also, even though the results will be (way) different from real life. You can still learn alot of the physics involved. So that when you do get out in real life. Then you have a chance of knowing what mistakes you are doing. And perhaps how to improve as well :)

  • @ricardofcarvalho oh.. And you say prof. racing drivers use sims to learn track where they havent been yet ?Actually In F1.. You can be SURE they have spend probably + 20 hours in a simulator, before each race. :) No matter how many times they have been at the track before <- And some/alot prof. racing drivers, have a gaming rig at home for sim racers. :P And yes i have seen some with GT5 ^^

  • @ricardofcarvalho I'm whit you but some people cant buy a Logitech G25/G27 in Bulgaria it costs us 300 euros

I don't have Logitech but i hope I'll buy one day

  • This is not double clutching.

  • @Simplemindedgenius He double clutches a couple of times.....I mean you do know what double clutching is right? At around 35 secs he double clutches

  • @ohcheeky Erm.....IT"S A TOY!!! There is no car here incase you hadn't noticed, Nor is there a clutch.

  • @Simplemindedgenius I understand what you are saying. I get that this is a toy and not a real car. Having said that, he is still employing the double clutch technique in his racing game.

  • What the hell is up with all of the assholes on youtube?

  • this is sick even if its not in a real car cus he clearly CAN do it in a real car and is CHOOSING not to lol

  • lol man thas dope fuck the shit talkin

  • Nice footwork , but bad footwear lol

  • why do you use doble clutch?

  • @wiederhe

Ignore those comments man, haters gonna hate.

  • whats up with your brake pedal? whats that blue thing?

  • im looking for real driving skills ,not dreamer video game land you fucking moron

  • HEY! I've got the same socks! HI FIVE MAN!!!

  • where did you buy the G25

  • hahahahaha if i saw someone doing this in there house i'd laugh at them, make fun of them, and slap them across the face for being such losers.

  • @wenger828 I'd laugh at them and make fun of them but wouldn't swoop to so low a level as to slap them and call them losers. It's all in fun. Come on man.

  • @wenger828 you are a douche too

  • @lastmiles I'm 48 old asshole.

Do you really think I learnt heel toe by playing PC games?

That's a long comment for talking bullshit!

  • @wiederhe fuck that guy that was some good work. not to mention its a hell of a lot safer then on the street.

  • @wiederhe OH SNAP he pwned you there.

  • @wiederhe Hey BRO!!! I support you!!!! He's bullshiting!!!! HAHAHA

  • @wiederhe yea its called the internet and youtube

  • @wiederhe Haha, I learmed heel toe shifting from using the Logitech G25 stearing wheel and playing games! And I'm 15 years old. So shut up, it's possible!

  • @lastmiles nice assumption....

  • @lastmiles The Army trains with sims? Pilots learn to fly with sims? Helloooo?

  • @lastmiles I MEAN SERIOSLY WHY DO YOU CARE?

  • @lastmiles How old are you? Do you realize the cost in taking car out on the track? Simulation games do a great job at letting us drive awesome cars at home without a huge hit to the wallet. Fun fact- a good number of Racing Simulation players with expensive wheel set ups are actual car enthusiasts who love it all so much that they do it at home too.

  • @lastmiles fag boy..... This video actually helped me learn heel toe better than the other ones so go suck it

  • looks like it would be harder to do on this setup, than in a real car. just my opinion. Nice socs btw lol

  • he go very slow,so it's easy

  • lol gump nigga learn to do that shit on a real car

  • @walead007

lol I was thinking the same thing. Fucking kid is all serious wit his video game, making heal and toe videos lol

  • @ThuGfunk 48 old kid asshole. We all always stay kids.

That's only the price of toys that change.

  • You're playin that Hard ass ferrari game arent you???? good shifting

  • So hard to adjust the pressure when heel & toeing!

  • i wanna play forza 3 with this shit let me borrow it...

  • wat game

  • what game are you playing?

  • nice vid, what is the benefit of this technique?

  • Those are the ugliest socks ever.

  • @Bystronicman08 What's about the carpet?

  • @Bystronicman08 That's what my girlfirend said when she first saw the video.

  • @wiederhe You're pretty insecure. You're trying to prove your self worth to people on Youtube.

  • lol OHHHHHHHH SOOO COOOOOL

  • what type of gaming system is this i have not seen one wit cluth is there one for xbox?

  • um actually i think i will be a first but, yea not a insult but he is using a g27 racing wheel, not the g25. simple mistake

  • @DmanHein95 Its G25 because I can see the Selector gear switch knob of the G25 in the gear stick and the G25 gearstick and the G27 gearstick are not interchangable to each wheels. He is using G25 not G27.

  • Hi, can my nose be your gas pedal? :-)

  • why are there so many fags uploadin heal toe vids with poofy school girl white socks?

  • Porsche?

  • UR SUPPOSE TO PIVOT THE HEEL AND MOVE THE TOE LOLOL wtf did i just see

  • How does this terrible driver get 300k views.

  • @xStamos I could have gave you a rid in your baby seat in my first Renault 5 Alpine Turbo.

Carry on playing with your toy, try to post smarter comments (I took a look at your site, and I'm not impressed).

  • Comment removed

  • @xStamos I don't know you and you don't know me, but you seem to know a great deal about my life.

I really don't like the way you talk to me. My mother passed away as my father.

Who are you to tell me I'm a terrible driver?

Just stick to the subject, and try to say something intelligent or pass your way, just go to piss off somebody else

  • you are the definition of a "faggot"

  • nice driving man

  • @Edu12Skyline Thank you.

  • I see one funny thing - this guy is doing things like heel and toe... and he holds his right hand at the gearbox ALL THE TIME.

Dude, two hands ON DA WEEL (steering wheel)

  • @Damian72a

Yeh right and you know what, I didn't fastened my seatbelt either
