  • looks tough

  • Did many ILG fans spin the opposite way most do?

  • nice one

  • that must move some air then i will have to try to design this myself to calculate the air movement at CFM

  • that sounds very powerful

  • By the noise, it sure needs oil, but still sounds like it moves mucho air. I didnt know the made industrial fans like this back then. nice find

  • ILG is a quality fan. I have one as well. I'll make a video of it later. I do have a video where you can see it. The video is called "Random Vintage Fans".

That noise is the center hub on the blade bracket. It is a little loose. You can fix it. If your not sure how then let me know and I'll reply back on the way how to fix it.

ILG is one of my favorite fans. :)

  • I've seen that vid.

I also like ILG's. I remember ILG box fans which were hung over the door of our local market, they were meant to keep flies out.

  • ILG made box fans?

  • Yes they did.

  • I like the way it starts!

  • It needs some oil and possibly a new capacitor but man does it move some air once it gets up and going.

  • Hey can you make a video of this monster blowing ove some cheapo box fans. That would be so cool.=)
