  • ive never seen dwight actually use these moves hakeem taught him

  • Hakeem's skillset is insane. He's definitely the best center of all time.

  • I hope Dream is charging all these players seeking his knowledge!

  • @Cerl84 You bet your ass he is. No idea why should these sessions be free, might as well be for Dwight, money's not an issue there.

  • dwight+kobe=basketball god

  • @foreveramser jordan and hakeem would eat them alive

  • @jonnieos Sad but true...wtf happened to players??

  • @jonnieos Amen lets be honest back in the day nba players had the fundamentals down! See how easy dream does those moves. Its natural to him because he made moves like that millions of times! It wasn't about flash back then like it is now. Todays NBA player wants to score 30 every night rather than do the simple things that makes champions. Like work on footwork and shot selection! Dream did his work in the paint but he could also kill you from outside because his shot was consistent!

  • If he worked on his guard skills more he would be unstoppable.

  • if Shaq had Hakeem's ability to move with the ball... that would've been pure beauty to watch.

  • @JMKentnerd3000 I know Shaq was all size and power. Hakeem was graceful! He killed you with his speed and grace! I miss watching him. You never know how great somebody is until they're gone! You don't see centers anymore like Hakeem, Ewing, Morning, and Robinson!

  • dwight's like robo cop, the dream's way more smooth...i don't dwight can ever get to that level...he's pure power.

  • Hakeem looks like he can give 15 minutes off the bench!...

  • @Minus31 Yeah Hakeem could still get you a double double today!!!! Speed is still there the bulk isn't but when did Hakeem ever use his bulk anyway? He was straight up graceful on the court!

  • LOL masta splintaa

  • Whoah, I never realized Dwight was that short. But now that Olajuwon is revealing his secrets I can see why he was so unstoppable. The guy has footwork like a cat.

  • damn that is basketball right there

  • dwight dunks with so much ease.

  • @toosauce "damn dwight sucks"

next to Olajuwon, most players would

  • 6:59 alway trinna do tht at court its harder tht it seems :s

  • dwight H. is to stiff and slow to learn the dream shake...

  • @lumapas hence the reason he is "learning".

  • Yea Hakken is much more agile

Man he must have practiced his ass off

I mean it is obvious Dwight is learning but Hakeem is doing every moves without thinking while Dwight is thinking...it is not engrained into his body yet.

    What an amazing player

  • Hakeem looks like he can still play.

  • Wasted 6 years training with Patrick Ewing! This is the right player to get Footsteps from Dwight!!

  • damn dwight sucks

  • dwight looks so stiff

  • Greatest center of all time!!!

  • god damn...hakeem looks better than dwight. he still has it, as smooth as ever. the rockets need to pick him back up! lol

  • 7.26 I thought I heard mambas. Lol.

  • no homo dwight was lookin big as hell

  • Sooooo many colllege, pro and HIgh school kids need to watch this. There are basically no big men left, everyone wants to be a point guard.

  • DAMN I WISH I COULD VE SEEN HAKEEM PLAY would ve been amazing just all skill

  • Even when Dwight does a jump hook it looks like he just wants to dunk so bad

  • I bet he would still average 15/8 in todays NBA

  • @KingKoltAir yeah, i think alot of old nba players would be able to do work in todays nba, but would they be able to handle the minutes?:)

  • he should shoot more

  • olajuwon at 48 still looks more agile than dwight :D

  • I love Olajuwon's reaction when Dwight Howard dunks.

  • lol at 6:26 xD Looks like the small guy was edited xD

  • " Nice move ! "

  • If Dwight learned some of The Dream's moves. Orlando Championship.

  • just like in nba2k12 in the training camp mode Hakeem is the Maestro and Dwight is the student

  • squeaky clean court love it

  • Props to DH for wanting to get better and props to Hakeem for teaching him.

  • Hakeem was skill for skill the best center of all time.

  • How old is hakeem right now? Looks way more in shape on this vid then jordan do...

  • Dwight looks a lot skinnier.

  • dwight howard is fucking massive

  • @Robinqq11and dwight says 'its not always about power' well right now dwight you make it look like it is

  • Maybe if he comes down to Houston once this lockout ends, hell be unstoppable! :P

  • Hakeem is the greatest center of all time along with Shaquille O'Neal and Hakeem is probably the greatest human being in NBA history as well. The man just earns respect.

  • @nipo10847 Greatest Centre ? What about Kareem , Chamberlain and Russell ? hhaa you crazy

  • @xIISuPeRMaN No,I am not crazy.Kareem, Wilt, and Russell are also in the conversation along w/those 2. They all offer different things in different ways. It's all about what you want on your team. Russell is the greatest defensive center in history; Shaq/Kareem are the greatest offensive centers, BUT Hakeem is the greatest two way center in the history of the game. I want most fundamental offensive big and the 2nd greatest defensive bigman on my team. Well, only HAKEEM offers both. Go figure.

  • hope he can shoot better than dirk...

  • why does hakeem move quicker and more aggressive than dwight?

  • it honestly looks like hakeem could come back and still play with his moves, though that just may be me being a fan of literally the best center in NBA history.

today's only all around center is dwight howard, the rest are too offense or defense minded rather than the mold of a great center who plays offense and D. i hope that dwight continues to improve under ewing and hakeem, because he has a really great skill down low and with better non-strength based post moves he's an MVP easily.

  • @yohohobottleofrum huh?? What skills does Howard have down low? He's a great defender, but his offense is limited to overpowering other guys, and if that doesn't work he gets frustrated.

  • @1badmonster he has one of the fastest spin moves in the game right now for big men and it's his go to move. his main weakness is his inability to be consistent from the mid range. his athleticism is itself a skill, too. the main reason that hakeem was able to do what he could was his quickness. dwight needs to develop some finesse moves in order to really go ham because i think he has the natural ability to challenge all time greats considering he's an entire package.

  • you gotta think he's barely 6' 10" and today's average for centers is 7' 2" a few inches like that may seem not that big a deal, but in reality a few inches as a center can mean getting that hook blocked, and putting that hook in.

  • @basketball4life49 todays average for centers is not 7'2.....its not even 7.....so dwight howard could block it possibly...who else? this is by far the weakest era of centers in the last 40 years

  • Hes right Hes not tall

  • Hakeen still got it... thats surprising. players his age just have diminishing skills but dang he still got it.

  • @ash18746 diminishing skills?? Their skills probably increase as a skill is something that it is picked up and refined over time, but physical ability, yes, that diminishes.

  • 5:34

  • let lebron learn it, but will he ever use it yeah pretty sure, he has the strength and size

  • the dream's still got it

  • 2:33 just too quick mann (4 a center)

  • omg dwight's body literally looks like superman's...

  • This is like.. A treasure trove!

  • looking at this you can just tell how hakeem is on another level. much smoother post game than dwight's, all dwights moves look a little to mechanical.

  • that's all day.... lol

  • Did Hakeem said "fuck it" at 1:59

  • @afifmazlan he said OKAY

  • @afifmazlan no lol he said ok

  • Hakeem stil got the moves...amazing

  • "ME AND HAKEEM WERE UNDERSIZED CENTERS" are u serious dwight are u serious? 1:35

  • @Robinqq11

they are undersized. what are you talking about?

look at how small they are when they stand next to a true 7-footer.

  • @Robinqq11 dwight is only 6"10 thats undersize i think =)

  • @Robinqq11

    yes he is

  • @Robinqq11 Lol but dwight is pretty undersized I doubt he is even 6 10, he looks the same height as lebron when they stand next to each other

  • @dannywuyue dwight is 6"11.

  • @Robinqq11 hahaha that was stupid. He also said it wasn't about power, we used our strength. Wtf same thing

  • @Robinqq11 dwight is an undersized center hakeem Not So Much.

  • Yeah, Dwights got short arms! Compared to some of the other centers in the league, but has a little jumping advantage haha!

  • @klwidmer yeah True,.

  • @Robinqq11 one thing people dont understand. dwight is built, strong and quick, but he is by no means a big center by NBA standards. People might have this misconception because he is often compared to shaq. But shaq is both taller and heavier than dwight.

  • @Robinqq11

c are most of the time 7 feet hakeem was about 6.11 d12 the same

  • @Robinqq11 They Were, Weight wise lol Dwight was SKINNY as hell then he the weights like a steroid man lol, Hakeem was always skinny looking lol

  • @Robinqq11 He meant they both were around 6'11 well other centers are about 7'0-7'3

  • @Robinqq11 i think he was refering to their weight size compared to heavier centers like shaq, dampeir, perkins, oakley, or horace grant.

  • @Robinqq11 yea dwight is 6'11. i think that is pretty undersized for a center

  • kobe bryant is still using the both skills!

  • olajuwon is too good at Ball!

  • That's beautiful to behold.

One of the greatest and most unique centers to ever play the game, passing on his knowledge to the young generation. And Dwight showing his respect to the master. Both having a great time.

    THAT'S how it should be!

I wish every player would be like that instead of the majority of bitching media sluts that's going on in today's sissy NBA!

  • @megatroll Yao Ming learned from hakeem.

  • Hmmm.. so Dwight has a new Sensei now. Not Patrick Ewing. He betrayed him so he's going for the dream! :D

  • dwight's move is like patrick ewing... hahaha

  • wow dwight can shoot.

  • @Terrell8976 course he can...he's payed to play ball...24/7

  • great video
