Well done for acknowledging that even early sigh was not simply black metal, but I still would not call this thrash. I think this is much more influenced by the likes of Iron Maiden than by thrash (it's almost melodic death metal, but I'll avoid labelling as that also)
i was suprised to read that hangmans hymn was described as a blend between black and thrash metal in terrorizer when it came out (2007?) o.O and i agree, while sigh implement many styles and take influence from many places i don't predominantly see thrash here - let's say it doesn't spring to mind. but oh well.
