  • You're just too good ... Awesome

  • OH MY GOD.

    Awesome !

  • Epic.

  • thats epic!

  • No one's probably gonna read this, but I’ll say it anyway cuz I feel at least 1 person will. I'm a young dedicated producer, I know there's a million out there but I feel like my music has a unique individual style.

If you just take a min and give me a chance I'll make you a believer. I would love nothing more than to have a loyal following on youtube. If anyone who reads this could press the "THUMBS UP" others will see it. Just a simple button push will make a huge difference.

  • woohooo!!! super dope!!

  • LOL

  • for the rhythems you created awesome typing playing :) u rock

  • DOWNLOAD???????????

  • :39 was the best part.

    Great job!

    Keep it

    Up!

  • download a plugin called Superior Drummer. it will make the drums 1000 times better. nice work btw.

  • Love your work! Where's a good place to get instruments like the ones you use? Any good free ones or ones worth the money? Keep it up!

  • @Sykora727 Pretty much all of the instruments I use are either built-in, from one of Apple's Jam Packs or from one of Ben Boldt's instrument packs (link is in the description). Some of them are custom-made by tweaking the settings on existing instruments, adding effects on top of them, etc. I'm not aware of any other good sources of software instruments, though since I upgraded to Logic a while back I haven't really spent much time looking.

  • @CptnEvilStomper Oh thanks. Thank you for taking the time to reply.

  • good

  • nice

  • Love Numb, this made it 10 times better

Please answer, what Jam packs did you use, and how many leads did you need?

(Sry for some english faults, I'm from germany :D)

  • @Lilac354 Hey thanks man, glad you liked it. If you expand the description you'll find links to all the Jam Packs and other instruments that I used, plus a link to the original .band file so you can download it and play around with it.

  • @CptnEvilStomper How do you get those custom songs? I can't figure out how to make custom instrument sounds

  • @N8mont4 Just search MIDI garageband on google

  • @Lilac354 what english faults? there are no faults :D

  • @iso900a If youre German you never know if your sentences are absolutely correct, so you write it as a disclaimer. :D

(Hope there isn't any fault in this sentence^^)

  • @VariousEdition ahhh i see :D :P

  • @Lilac354 he didnt create that cos if you get a song and right click you can open in garageband

  • @MinecraftTutorials21 check out chesterbieber0254's numb remake and garageband tutorial. The name chesterbieber0254 doesn't sound good, but his vids are awesome!

  • @linkinpark000 ok thanks always trying to get a record deal with someone

  • wow!! with the garage band??? incredible! :D

  • =O sickkkkk !!!!! xD

  • nice man! :D

how long did u do that?

  • @AuchderPeter Getting all the notes and everything laid out only took me a few hours I think, but it took me another few weeks of intermittent tweaking to actually finish it. I spent most of that time experimenting with different instruments and getting all the track levels right, though.

  • did you use the GarageBand Preamps? How are they called?

  • @chadvader93 No, this is all done with software instruments. I'm assuming you're talking about the built-in guitar amps; otherwise I'm not really sure what you're asking me.

  • @CptnEvilStomper yes, of course i mean the built-in amps

  • holy shit epic

  • i installed your instruments, but they are not playing correctly in my garage band, any suggestions to what it might be?

  • @darude90 Can you be a little more specific? Which instruments aren't playing correctly, and what are you hearing instead of the instrument?

  • Standing ovation. Good job.

  • awesome!

  • WTF, F*king nice, could you tell me what drumms you use in the sound???

  • Beautifully, made.

  • @Gamer82296 possibly even better!

  • damn awesome!!!

  • This is very cool !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! good job !

  • Lets work together. Check out my page and let me know if you're interested.

  • class!

  • wow great job dude

  • Update for everyone wondering how I did the guitar or synth effects: I created an installer for all the custom instruments I've used so far in my videos (link is in the description). I haven't had time to do a lot of testing so if anyone has any problems you can email at wesm87+gbbugs [at] gmail [dot] com.

  • hell ya, hellll ya. Garageband can be a bitch to use sometimes and this is really great for it.

  • this is amazing! what sound did you use for the openeing riff?

  • I forget exactly what I did to get the sound but it's a modified version of the Rotuma Bells instrument with a distortion effect added to it. I actually get this question a lot so I think I'm going to start adding download links for all the custom instruments I used for a particular song in the video descriptions. I might also write an AppleScript droplet to install them so I don't have to include installation instructions. I should have them up sometime this week if I'm not too busy.

  • thanks =)

  • Good job, GarageBand FTW? ;)

  • I downloaded the ben boldt pack and there were nothing in my garage band

  • but only the folder and nothing inside it

  • WoW That Sounds Just Like It You Should Try To Add Vocals

  • dude this is amazing, just one question, are the drums that you used part of the boldt pack thing?

  • For the main drum track I used the Pop Kit instrument, which comes with GarageBand, but the other two came from one of the Boldt packs. I forget which one they were part of but they're all free to download (there's a link in the description).

  • Sweet, thank you! I just downloaded all of the Boldt 24 packs and they are great. I recorded a song with my midi keyboard using the sounds from the Boldt 24 pack, I'll post it on my channel in a few minutes, oh and how old are you? because your music is really good. I'm 15 and I play the piano, drums, and guitar. I read one of your comments and you said you played guitar and drums too, that's legit. haha

Tell me what you think of my video :)

    -Danny

  • Hi bro can you tell me where you got all the software instruments?

  • I have links in the description - click the "more info" link and look toward the bottom.

  • can teach me how to do it

  • awesome nicely done i good to how did you get this online i tried uploading but it wouldnt convert or anything

  • DUDE! BEST EVER! YOU ARE A GOD! 5 STARS!

  • oh my god - thats just perfect ... well done.. but i have one question... are you able to play all these instruments in reality?

  • Some of them. I played the drums for around 4 years before I had to quit due to a bad case of carpal tunnel syndrome in my right wrist, and I've been playing guitar on and off for the past 5 years or so. Actually I just started getting back into guitar again after not playing for the past 9 months or so (also because of the carpal tunnel). I'd like to record something and post it on here but I don't have an amp so that'll have to wait until I can save up enough to buy one.

  • you can always use your mac an amp via garage band and and usb midi cable

    ps

i really like this you have talent!

  • omg i cant even tell if this is really garageband (suspicious hmmm) :P

  • really like this instrumental of the song. How did you get the guitar sound?

  • BEAST.

did these instruments come with garageband?

cos ive never seen mosh pit lead on garageband, only on logic

  • ur gud.lol

  • VERY NICE

  • this is CRAZY!!! NICE REMAKE

  • damn dude u rock im subscribeing

  • this is probalbly the best enterpritation of linkin parks numb i have heard

  • Comment removed

  • WOW!

  • It's a custom guitar I made based off of the Mosh Pit guitar in the Rhythm Section Jam Pack (I put a link in the description). If you have GarageBand and the JamPack then you just have to highlight the Mosh Pit guitar, click the pencil icon next the Amp Simulation, click Make Preset and name it something. Then select Sunburst Electric, uncheck Echo and Reverb and set the Amp Simulation to the preset you just made. Save it as a new instrument and it should sound just like the one I used.

  • Hey thanks everyone for all the comments. I haven't had much free time lately so I haven't had anything worth uploading but I'll see if I can something done in the next week or so (maybe an original song if I ever actually finish it).

  • Better than the original :)

  • what's the bpm?

  • 110
