It takes me awhile to get use to AVEDA products at first I had a problem with the sizes when I ask my sister about it she said to me: maybe it's concentrated. Now I don't have to use too much of most of their products are not greasy at all

Although I like your hair wth the Hawaiian Silky (and it is one of my staple products as welll), I absolutely love the volume that you get with the Aveda Be Curly. Very beautiful!! Thanks for sharing.

the bottle it self is all recycle. Aveda products are very concentrated, and water activated. so you can always apply more water to make it work again. This is a prep product. It is meant to help you start with the way you style your hair, but if you really wanted it to hold a little more, you should think about the be-curly enhancer. it's a soft formula but gives you a sturdy hold :) the prep also help you protect against heat if you do diffuse your hair :)

The product works best completely wet hair apply the product.... in your case 6-7 pumps then scrunch the hair and let air dry, the hair will not be as big.

I abosolutely LOVE YOUR HAIR. I recently gave up putting heat in my hair for lent, and have been wearing my hari naturally curly by using Carols Daughters. However, I find that my hair is SHEDDING A LOT MORE than usual. I have been braiding it every nite, and moisturizing it every 3 days with pure virgin coconut oil. How do you maintain your hair at night? I looked for the video you mentioned about not braiding but could not find it.

Thanks for your review!! I was about to take this back to Aveda because of the price but because of your review I will try it tomorrow with water. I paid $24 +tax, which is outrageous because of the size but I guess if defines my curls then I will be happy! I also purchased the Be Curly Curl Enhancer for $19. Btw...Big Hair is Fab! ;-D

Hi, I've been following u for about a year now, and thank u for all the good advice for turning natural, and keeping my hair healthy, "im lovin it'! I was thinking about dying my hair, but im afraid of damaging it, is it different adding dye to natural than relaxed hair, i don't know if u made a video on that or not? Also have you tried the Mixed Silk by silk elements, its a leave-in conditioning Creme? I tried it on my sister today, and i can see a big difference it makes on curling her hair.

Yea that Aveda is bad though I used it once an wore my hair out an I loved it. It's a staple along with my other products. However, I liked Hawaiian Silky but the texture of it on my hands an in my hair while applying I don't like but after it dries it's all good.

Aveda is a great product you should try their jojoba revitalizing shampoo and conditioners it makes you hair so cury and bring out your curl definition

Wonderful! I was wondering how the Aveda hair products worked. My husband and I went to an Aveda spa for our anniversary last year and it was wonderful. I had the best facial I've ever had in my life that day! I bought the products they used for my basic skincare, and yes, they are very expensive but almost a year later I still have some product left and I use it practically everyday. Great review!
