In all my years of following the Israel-Palestinian conflict I have not known one Israeli Prime Minister who has genuinely acted to resolve the conflict and bring about peace. The words they utter in public and what they say in private, and more importantly what they do and don't do, indicates that they want the conflict to continue because under its cover they have been successfully stealing more and more Palestinian land. Any peace deal would mean a halt to settlements and theft. Not wanted.

Trouble is that the IDF, not god, bombed Gaza etc. -- If it would have been god's will, he could have sent thunderbolts, a tornado, a flood or something, and saved the IDF (or rather, the US) a lot of money.
God doesn't even protect "his chosen people" from Hamas rockets or suicide bombers. Perhaps because the "chosenness" is just wishful thinking?

most of his voters dont share his vies and probably never heard them , the story of Shas party is quite and complex , it is a party made of Arab Jews who were disappointed with the government and voted for Shas out of spite even though they dont share his vies and probably never heard them. I never claimed that Rabbi Ovadia Yosef is the biggest racist in the mideast. I never said he was a racist to begin with. But surly his views of "goyim" are as racistic as the hard core Imams who are talking about infidels as low life creatures. Statements like that doesnt flatter any religion.

If you take a close look, you'll see that Israel has very few Nobel prizes (basically, 1 in chemistry), except for a few in soft nonsense disciplines like "peace" (yeah right -- for war criminals) or "literature". Worse, Israel has an average IQ of 90, versus 100-104 in Europe. (Source: Book "IQ and the wealth of nations") -- No wonder this rabbi is such a star there.

There is nothing really extraordinary about the comments of the Rav, and the Arab leaders have done all in their power to destroy Israel and to deny the legitimacy of Jews even living in the ME. Jews have a right to live in Israel and to defend themselves from those who wish to extinguish them. So all the PC comments about "peace" which is not really peace at all fall askance. Nobody is fooled any longer that Arabs want peace with Israel.
